I dunno if it’s real or not, but it looks fantastic.

Also, regardless of how this controller is, I’m 100%... nay, 1000% certain that button based gaming will not be left in the dark in the new console. Be it with accessory controllers (like the Wii U Pro), attachments for this, or whatever.

Based on like, a 30 year old back catalogue they have to sell, 30 years of experience in making games that work with buttons, etc.

Anyone really worried about that? lol.

Expense is a point yeah, not sure how they'd handle that. But those controllers don't all necessarily need to stream though, they could just have some sort of controller mode and only display buttons or something. Or just nothing.

My only issue with no buttons is that I actually want to press buttons not touch them. I don't know how it could fix this problem or if it's possible to set the amount of force needed for a button to be considered pressed. I don't like or dislike what we've seen so far.Who knows, there might be an addon with grips and buttons.So I'll wait for the official reveal and information before I start jumping from happiness.

Guys you won't believe what just happened. I heard noises upstairs, like fucking Mii's talking or some shit. As I walked up the stairs to go investigate my phone started to vibrate. Shit’s locked in my pocket, now I'm worried so I take a look at my phone and I shit you not Miitomo had just installed itself. Shit's not even out yet fam. At this moment I'm pissing myself so I run up stairs towards the room where I heard the Mii's talking and the fucking room is empty. But listen, this is where it gets crazy, I approached my desk and as I looked out of my window I saw fucking trees. Guys what if the NX is inside of the house?

Keyboard is set in a swedish/finnish different format or something. Only major third party that nintendo might consider giving a devkit to in Sweden is Massive which is part of Ubisoft. An early pic of the Massive building has trees in it. The supposed "leaked" handheld has a reflection of a tree. Detective-gaf goes crazy with the cross tree comparisons.

If this is true I hope it plays better then it looks, cause that looks awful.

I skipped the Wii, I don't wanna skip another Nintendo-console just because they feel like doing things different. I don't like mobile gaming for a reason.

But it's not farfetched, workstations operate in this way. PS3's Cell architecture was designed to do it. People build PC's with multiple GPUs for this reason. Implementing it into real world situations doesn't really seem plausible though. Developers would have to code for the just the one console, and all the other computational things would be graphical in nature. So it wouldn't affect the game's design or gameplay. Of course even then, how would it work? Would graphics scale from 900p to 1080p whenever another device is detected? Would particle effects scale? Would shadow rendering become more complex? I just don't see how something like this can be tied to other consoles because how many people would actually be able to consistently benefit from it? And I'm assuming that it wouldn't cause Nintendo to scale back the horsepower of the base console (which would affect the scale and ambition of games) and I'm also assuming it wouldn't cause the console to cost more for the consumer.

It's just too fickle of a scenario. Honestly, Microsoft's Cloud computing makes more sense than this.

This thing looks like a decent design in black.

strange design, but definitely catches the eye and looks like a professional piece of equipment compared to the bulky Wii U.

I wonder if this is the new DS/Gameboy or new Wii iteration though.
Exciting times.

My only other thing is if it has Tactus. Those things look amazing and would work really, really well for this.

I thought it was already known that the NX releasing first would be the handheld, and the console that the handheld somehow interacts with would be released later. In which case this wouldn't be the 'controller' but a standalone handheld.

I assume someone already made the joke that it will be called the Nintendo SteWii ? What a hideous looking handheld. Will be curious to see where it goes from here because the lack of buttons is pretty dumb imo.
