And the Wii was clearly more powerful than any 6th gen console. As much as people say "Wii is two Gamecubes taped together," the Gamecube itself was comparable to the original XBox but hamstrung by using minidiscs that only had about an eighth of the storage of the DVDs XBox and PS2 were using. Wii, besides being 1.5-2x stronger than the Gamecube (putting it comfortably ahead of the XBox and especially the PS2), used DVD-sized discs. The Wii was clearly stronger of any 6th gen console much like the Wii U is clearly stronger than any 7th gen one.

It's all pretty meaningless seeing as they are from different console generations.
