im sorry i think im not getting what you saying

why would you avoid reloading, when you can reload full your clip after a battle or kill, and then active reload and have the full clip with active reload when you spot an enemy and will engage?

Nah, Gears 4 looks much nicer, and is 1080p/60.

Anyone having a problem with the game not giving the right amount of XP? Yesterday I wasn't getting at all today I'm getting like 200 a match

Gears 3 is a very very clever game in terms of visual design, but it is also 720p, 30fps, has less sophisticated lighting, less geometry, less tessellation (if any?), etc. You may have an art design preference (and mind you this beta seems to have a lot of placeholder stuff and missing AO on the grass and such) but it is nowhere near equal to this beta on a technical level. Playing Gears 3 at first it is very impressive but eventually the boxy nature of things and flat textures and low res shadows and such becomes more apparent. Gears Ultimate keeps a much higher level of detail and lighting throughout and Gears 4 will push it well farther with more dynamic/animated elements.

Are you using a 1080p monitor/TV? Because there's a stark difference between Gears 3 and 4.

this POS beta. I just won a match, made 600 ppints during the match. guess how many xp points I got? fucking 17. that was supposed to be over 1500 including the bonus , bounty and March xp, ribbons. what the fuck is wrong with this beta?

Aside from obvious shortcomings(that are addressed by the devs to be fixed by the time the game comes out) I'm really enjoying the game. Really hope they get the framerate much more consistent though. I also know that there's a few weapons not in the beta that will be in the full game. I hope to god they bring the sawed off shotgun back. the only thing i'm curious about it how to do the new knife execution? I think you can only do it after you yank someone from cover i believe. Overall, very excited for the full release!

I don't know, it's a BETA. For fucks sakes, it is a FUCKING BETA. SHIT WILL BREAK.

I like the beta but I don't think ill be reaching rank 20 to get the skins reward sadly. Lack of time and huge backlog. Plus being a big gears fan I know ill just be setting myself up for "wanting more now" mentality
