Release date: May 19th
In Far Harbor, a new case from Valentine’s Detective Agency leads you on a search for a young woman and a secret colony of synths. Travel off the coast of Maine to the mysterious island of Far Harbor, where higher levels of radiation have created a more feral world. Navigate through the growing conflict between the synths, the Children of Atom, and the local townspeople. Will you work towards bringing peace to Far Harbor, and at what cost?

Far Harbor features the largest landmass for an add-on that Bethesda Game Studios has ever created, filled with new faction quests, settlements, lethal creatures and dungeons. Become more powerful with new, higher-level armor and weapons. The choices are all yours.

Could a mod add the release date to title? Sorry :(

cryo me and take my son if old.

Looks good. Here's hoping they upped their writing game for this and took feedback from FO4 reactions. Either way should be fun to explore a big new area. Wish it was next week as I took that whole week off, but 19th isn't bad either.

I should really try to go back and play Fallout 4 again, I got into the mindset of, "Oh I'll wait for the mods to come out officially" but I've never checked back on it yet.

That trailer didn't do anything for me, sadly.

But since I bought the season pass, I'm playing it anyway.

Looks incredibly drab and very run-of-the-mill in terms of content.

Few new weapons, slight variations of existing enemies... a cult. It sure is a Bethesda DLC.

I wish they wouldn't make their dlc be small separate zones from the main game area.

I'd much prefeer they just packed the main area with more npc's, questlines and interesting explorable places ( and proper fucking dialogue trees).

Looks awesome. While short, I really enjoyed Automatron, so I have really high hopes for this. And I'm definitely ready for more Fallout 4.

I saw Fallout 4 for £15 in CeX so I'm gonna pick it back up when this releases. I'm hoping that they've improved the mission design/writing for this DLC...but I won't hold my breath. Should be fun either way.

I haven't played since I beat the game on release. With Survival mode, Automatron, Wasteland Worksop, mod tools and now Far Harbor, hopefully it'll be a better experience.

It's Bethesda. Of course they didn't.
FO4 is bottom of the barrel though, there's no where to go but up.

Nick completely disappeared on me during my playthrough. Got an option to send him elsewhere when I chose a different follower, but he never showed up there.

Not sure if they patched in a fix for that somehow. Otherwise I wonder if this would even work on my save.

He and my dog disappeared for me. Never found them again. :(

I'm going to start a new save and build anyway.

Nope, not dealing with anymore child retrieval, nopenopenope. Nice to see the female SS used in the trailer. It'd be great if you could take companions along with you, though I'm assuming Nick was there as Far Harbor was one of his cases. What in the hell was that
synth
at the end? I probably won't grab this on release, but I'll be keeping an eye out on everyone's impressions.

Looks okay. I immediately stopped playing when I beat it, so this might get me back in. First it was "Gimme back my son!" now it's "Gimme back my daughter!"

I'm waiting for the dumb sci-fi DLC. Like Mothership Zeta or Old World Blues. Those were crazy fun.

their first story dlc after fallout 4... i wonder if they'll even attempt to address at least some of the issues people had with the main game in this or if they'll just double down. Knowing Bethesda I guess the safe bet to go with is that they'll go the easy route and double down.

Old World Blues was anything but dumb.

Bethesda has to know that voice acting isn't their strong point, so I don't get why they feel the need to voice their trailers. The only VA who sounded good in that was Nick, but that's pretty much true for the full game, I suppose. They should really try to use text where possible.

That being said, I'm excited to try it out. The robot DLC was fun and had a neat quest, so I am interested in what they will be pulling off in a more substantial DLC.

I kinda figure they will avoid touching on most of the main games issues. That's an advantage of having the DLC set pretty far away. Unless you mean gameplay things, which I kinda doubt they can fix. The voiced player and a lot of the issues around the gameplay don't seem like they would be fixable in a DLC to me.

Looks fantastic. All I'm hoping for are some new armors and weapons and looks like there are some. That final image has me super intrigued.

It's not the first story DLC, The Mechanist was first.

Automatron had a story and it was a major improvement. They even expanded on the lore and shown signs of trying to fix the heavily restrictive dialogue options. It also included by far the best 'dungeon' in the game.

I expect good things from Far Harbour.

Have yet to play Fallout 4. Only just bought a PS4 (arriving tomorrow). Playing through Witcher 3 than I'll start Fallout 4.

This looks okay. Wasn't too impressed by the voice acting. Excited to start Fallout 4 though.

I thought it was dumb, but that's why I loved it. You literally have to convince your brain to come with you!

Yeah, but it's actually very well written. The way Big MT and their research ties into the other DLC and even the main game is fenomenal.

This looks really cool! I was really disappointed with Wasteland Workshop but this looks much a lot more rich with content.

Hopefully we'll get new power armor.

God I hope so. But I'm not going to hold my breath.

Old World Blues was anything but dumb.

Kind of off topic, but while the setting and writing were phenomenal, the actual gameplay, or rather location, was always lacking for me.

I did not enjoy the OWB map. It was rather bland and uninteresting to explore and traverse. It's particularly boring and tedious after the first time. Though nothing like Dead Money or Lonesome Road, those are just frustrating to playthrough again. Honest Hearts was the only NV dlc that had a nice map that was actually fun to go around and not a pain the second or third time around.

Hmmm, can't wait. Looks great.

I need to finish my 3rd playthrough of Dark Souls 3 and just download Wasteland Workshop and mess around with my base.

When I say "dumb" I'm just referring to the general plot. It's so goofy, I love it. But you're right. If it wasn't well written, I wouldn't have enjoyed it as much as I did.

Definitely gonna pick up Far Harbor if it's well received.

We got that weird Tesla variant of the T-60 in Automatron, but it's still the T-60. I want to find an abandoned Enclave base on Far Harbor with Hellfire armor in it or something.
