CDPR is likely to announce new game at E3, may be Witcher related

I hope it's not a gwent app. I sorta liked it in witcher. But the game is way too simple for playing against other people.

Then again, I felt the same about hearthstone and people love that, so maybe I'm wrong.

Who says you need to play against other people?

I assumed that would be the point of making it a separate thing, but OK. The AI wasn't really interesting to play against either. The game isn't really deep enough for me to want to put more time in it outside of a distraction from the main game.

Not sure why everyone here is hoping for gwent. It worked great in witcher 3, but I can't see it working as a mobile game unless they make significant changes. The hero cards, especially the hero spy are just better than other cards so there is no reason to play any other cards.

In hearthstone each card has its own advantages and disadvantages so there are very few cards that can't be countered.

Hmm would jump in at a mobile gwent game. They should do arena based fps and call it Overwitcher :p.

New edit: Or maybe a new W3 expansion with Ciri?!?!?

No way it's going to be a big game. I'm expecting something like that Witcher adventure game or a Gwent game.

Or something completely unrelated to the Witcher name of course.

Shit. I hope this doesn't cause Cyberpunk to be pushed out even more. It's already likely a 2018 game.

Probably be The Witcher 3 Enhanced Edition with base game graphics upgraded to Blood and Wine standards.

We've had both halves of my guess, but not together: what about a Gwent VR title? Imagine sitting in taverns across from an amazing array of characters playing high-stakes Gwent with immersive sound. I'd be all over it.

I honestly don't know how you get beyond the conceptual stage making a MOBA where the core options are, "Play as Geralt" or "Be Wrong".

Though, CDPR didn't develop it, right? Just the publishers.

They contracted a studio to make it.

It seems they're doing more in house now, though they might still be hiring partner studios.
