I have a friend who goes on there. He took vacation for the release of the game, and when I told him about the delay he immediately started bashing kotaku and messaged me every hour that the Steam release date is still the same. Today he messaged me about Schreier "reveling in the frustration he caused" so I was like "he's getting death threats bro"
smh normally he's a reasonable dude and this game is the first time he's acted like this. That sub is cancer

Which is why even if htey still haven't hammered a date out they should say something soon. It's only going to be worse PR for them if they wait too long to even say the game is delayed (even if they have a date by that point). If you know you are going to disappoint people, then you shouldn't let them build up their hopes for what you know isn't true. The longer you let them, the worse they'll take it.
(though if it is just a few day delay I doubt that will be that bad when they announce though I'd still like to know so I have time to change my vacation request. But if this was going to be a month or two or longer delay).
Oh, and a lot of people need to learn the lesson of you don't shoot the messenger. Hell, in this case the messenger is doing us a solid and if you are going to be upset at some one, be upset at Hello Games/Sony for still not saying anything and having to rely on leaks to find out about this (so soon before the game is delayed).

The sub has already banned that person and the thread criticising him is one of the top ones. The majority of the posts and threads are very reasonable but don't worry, I know the siren call of the band wagon is a strong one.

On Reddit someone working for a Canadian game store also had new marketing materials delivered with the release date as June 24th, just like the Uk date. He posted pictures as proof. Amazing if this entire meltdown is about a three day delay.

My post didn't come out right. They don't owe anyone a release date. They may have found a critical issue during certification and may have no idea how long it could take to get fixed... it could take days even weeks to just evaluate how long it takes to resolve the issue.
It sucks for my friend, but there's nothing anyone can do.

Since nothing had been announced, the uncertainties that now exist were wholly created by the Kotaku article ... that's not really in debate.
But, the response has been ludicrous and the article was 100% justified when Sony is requesting people pay now to pre-order it. So, as far as I'm concerned Kotaku did the right thing publishing it, and Sony needs to do the right thing and step up with clarification.

It'll be 3 years on December 7th, that's when NMS was revealed at VGX.

Yep Sky Rogue. It has a lot of promise, but is in early access for now, so I'd wait and see how it turns out when all the content is done and tuned up.
NMS delay just became worth it now that I know this game exists.

I don't know, that first picture along with this second one https://twitter.com/LegacyZ3RO/status/736229732526788608 makes me a little less skeptical. If it's a fake, it's a pretty good one. Also went back and noticed the Uncharted 4 insert only says "June 2016" so that could've been printed after they knew it would be a short delay, but before they knew a new date. Or it could mean nothing.
The worst part of this delay might be having to look at reddit comments to find updates.

My Uncharted insert says June 21. I'm in the US if maybe that's what's causing other people to not have the exact date on theirs.
