Yeah, look at the E3 Schedule and FAQ thread. It says 0900 for us in the GMT+8 region. Well, technically, it says Perth, but as far as I know, we're in the same region.
That's what I'm thinking too.

Conference starts at 4 am here in Greece, which sucks. I'll do what I did before 2014, set my alarm for 3:50 and go back to sleep at 5.

My wife and I liked it a lot. I think among people who actually played it, it has a better reputation than among people who didn't. I'd be totally up for a sequel that fixes at least some of my issues with it, such as the difficulty, the priority of combat over platforming and the extremely linear levels.
I don't get this ND or nothing mentality. Especially in a world where we've seen what a great job Sanzaru did with Sly Cooper.

I'm guessing the difference is that we have no clue how these are going look / be. Save for GoW, but that's taken in a whole new direction.
Looking at the list of Xbox leaks yesterday, I have a pretty good feel how each of these is going to look like:
Dead Rising 4 (We got screens/gifs)
Recore (We got a lot of screens)
Ori 2 (I'm guessing more of the same tone)
Halo wars 2 (This one is a bit more out there, but it's still an rts, I have a faint idea what it's going to look like)
Which direction is Insomniac going to take Spider-man? No idea. What art-style is Dead Don't Ride aiming for? No clue either. Will it even be Kratos?
I'd say there's a difference between the leaks.

They're going to "waste" a lot of time on it. It's coming out in October and this is the show for it.

It's 8:00 AM (7:30 AM for the pre-show) for Jakarta. For Bali, Kuala Lumpur, Singapore, Manila (where I'm at), it's 9:00 AM.

It would be unfair to say they should skip it, but what they don't need to do is wheel out the creators to blunder around for 10 minutes trying to demo how some tennis game is 1:1 and super accurate. While the audience watch some 2D video and feel nothing.
Just show us the games support and hype it up a bit.
God of War is the only one I would call a legit leak since we actually had concept art kinda confirming it. There really isn't anything confirming DDR or Spider-Man outside of insiders saying stuff on GAF. In any case, we'll see everything tonight. Sony has been getting increasingly good at keeping things under wrap before unleashing the dogs of war.

PSVR will have a segment but I think it'll also be broken up throughout the show as well. It'll get passing mentions with games that'll have a vr mode included
But it'll also have a segment where they show which games are coming. All they have to do is show trailers and talk a bit about it.
The worry is that Sony will spend too much time with vr talk. The vr segment should be a rapid fire of games just to show us what content is coming. The press previews will be there for more in depth coverage

Wait, now I'm confused. The countdown says the conference is 12 hours from now, when it should be 12 hours and a half to 9:00 a.m. in my country. Someone please confirm!

It is 12h30m - I'm guessing there's a preshow, they usually do those.
12 hours to the conference, 11h 30 for pre-show

It was 90 minutes last year. You're right they are usually longer than that, but might be a new trend to keep it tighter.

Sony have a deal for an exclusive game from Rockstar. Originally that game was supposed to be Agent. I can see a potential possibility of them negotiating a different game from Rockstar.
Still, I doubt Red Dead would be on the table for that.
