I don't know i find it strange that people say "stranding" is not a word that exists maybe not a common tense that's used. Those two words put together are goofy for sure but whatever. People keep referering to this:

I think so. I think he mentioned buying the show Hannibal on Twitter once. The tone of the trailer certainly feels like some twisted Bryan Fuller/ Evangelion fever dream

What about by the end of the trailer? All the demonic ghostly sounds? If this game doesn't have some sort of psychological horror element to it i will be surprised.

The expectations for this game are going to be impossible to live up to and we'll be lucky if we get a release date five years from now.

Cool trailer though.

Not being a Konami game could maybe cut the dev time in half. When people are allowed to maybe move their seat without having to answer to the top things could speed up.

In all seriousness I'm glad to see Kojima working on something crazy looking. I hope the story is there though. MGS V left a bad taste in my mouth.

Figures in the sky are Metal Gear - 5 figures - 5 games.

Any thoughts on the necklace?

Of course. It's just a self contained piece that can crank itself up to 11 without making any concessions for the overall package. It'll probably end up just being some meta conceptualization for something more lucid.

Makes sense. But I do also wonder about the black strands of stuff all over the place. I mean I wonder how everyone is pronouncing the title.

A. Death -pause- stranding. Where stranding is the verb. IE: Death is stranding something.

B. Death stranding. Where Death is the adjective and stranding is the noun. IE: Strands of death.

I'm sure I'm missing a few combinations but it's really late here lol.

Perhaps it's a combination of both that would explain the dead stranded whales and sea creatures and the black strands of stuff that looks like is attached to them?... Man I haven't been this intrigued about a game in years lol.

I'm not even the biggest Kojima fan, but everything about this makes me super excited.

Congrats, Kojima. I can't wait to see what you can do on your own.

What engine is he using, I wonder?

I assume Konami has locked his amazing FOX engine away, to use with Pachinko machines.

He has only been at Sony 6 months, can you make a new engine in that time?

That looked outstanding but I'm not sold on the Reedusface. Mostly because it's a barrier to my appreciation of the character's hunky body.

Fuck first non-metal gear game from Kojima in a while! Definitely hyped! Typical Kojima fashion, you know it ain't gonna be released for a long time haha.

Don't worry, they've used CG to make him look more like a different ethnicity. I'm waiting extremely patiently for the outrage. Really, it'll come any minute.

Same, loving the enigmatic vibe. Kojima may bloat plot but dude knows how to tease a game.

Baby being PT is pretty clear, yeah.

Necklace also had 5 dog tags(?). Probably representing the games too, before they went up into the air.
