I guess this will be the tipping point for me to finally get a PS4 since this is with a publisher that will let the developer have the resources to make a great game. I hope it takes from and improves upon SM2's web-swinging, WoS's in-air combat, and ASM's web rush mechanic.

If "of all time" means you're going back to the 30s then yes there's an argument for Batman and Superman, but as far as profitability in modern times go, it's Spider-Man. No doubt spurred by the kids. It's a pretty arbitrary distinction either way, they're both massively popular.

I like the look. Fans need to let go of the whole classic outfit purity. Batman has had like a million different suits, but when they change a tiny thing on Spider-Man or nudge the S on Superman fan wedgies don't stop. It still looks like Spider-Man, let it be different.

I was very negative in the Sony thread due to hype reasons and Red Dead, but know I processed everything, this game might be my Game of Show. The game looks absolutely amazing!

For sure my game of Sony's show. Very interested in it as most have sucked prior. So its exciting to see someone working on one.

Ever since I first played the Arkham games, I've really been itching to see a good, modern take on a Spiderman game. Knowing Insomniac, it looks like it's finally happening. So weird seeing a game based off a licensed property locked to console exclusivity, though. Not in a bad way. Props to Sony, what they've conducted here is brilliant.

So it's more like thank Sony for making a game. Marvel probably didn't care.
