BorkBork

The Legend of BorkBork: BorkBorkity Borking
Take his arm and beat him with it!

All the little things. Now please showe us some meat! Some actual stuff happening...Bosses, huge enemies. Something exciting. So far it's so damn empty and directionless. I'm sure the whole game isn't like this but they've only shown the small things that distract you from...well, what exactly?

They are deliberate showing off general mechanics and not story elements or characters right now. I'm sure we'll get a dungeon later on.

After seeing this game we can be sure that Nintendo NX:

1) Will not have a second screen

2) It will have at least the same number of buttons as the Wii U

And probably more

Anyone else hate the UI?
• Inconsistent font use
• Inconsistent weights/letter caps/typefaces
• Inconsistent use of elements (arrow quantity, etc.)
• Futuristic vs. minimal is an ugly combo

This looks really good but definitely kinda dated. Hopefully the NX version picks up something the slack but it's really nothing too worrying

I wonder what that sound gauge is for, stealth elements? Seems like it, the enemies do have a more advanced AI. Also fits in with all the ways you can kill enemies without engaging them directly.

I... I'm almost in tears. So much love and joy was poured into this game, the tiny joyful details everywhere makes the world seem so alive. Can't wait to dive in. :)
March 2017 is too far off though, perfectionism and early announcements is a really bad combo.

Hm, how so?

Ura Zelda was supposed to add a lot more open world simulation aspects to OoT in addition to remixing and expanding the main story. Parts of those ideas wound up in Master Quest and Majora's Mask, but the original idea was never realized.

I think the voice in the game might be Zelda. It would be fitting if only the game's namesake talked.

Really liking the chime music briefly playing in the icy area. Reminds me of DKC.

Stop reaching. Link is a defined character, he doesn't have to have gender options.

It's the Wii U version, but I wouldn't call the graphics disappointing for a massive open world game on hardware that is somewhat comparable to the PS3 and 360. Looks really solid for Wii U, and it is an open world game.

Don't get your panties in a bunch. It's pretty obvious he's male when he woke up from the resurrection chamber. I was just making an observation.

Obviously they have yet to show dungeons. You know the meat of any Zelda game.

They can easily fix that, remember this game has a bunch of time before it comes out.

The world looks really empty and lifeless so far. The exploration also looks repetitive and quite dull. Zelda was one of the reason I bought a WII U, I hope they'll prove me wrong.

Yep, looks boring as hell so far. I hope they have the classic Zelda staples along with all of this open world stuff.

That's okay for me I guess, but the game is 9 months away, if there are any inconstancy they will fix them

Hm, it's just not blowing me away. It feels basic and it feels like there's a lack of energy and intensity to the game. Just seems too chilled out. Would have liked the battles to have more intense and energetic battle music. Also the item jingle is getting a bit annoying and the enemies don't feel very threatening. It all seems a bit pleasant. The best thing so far though is the British voice acting.
