90059 is even more disappointing in hindsight of Still Brazy and the Blankface stuff so far. Jay Rock needs dope ass west coast production mixed with some very dark, sinister production. 90059 felt like some type of mixtape you throw out before your actual album comes out. Given that Top Dawg said Jay Rock is coming out with something again soon I think it's safe to say that 90059 was a disappointment to them too.

It's not bad. Fly On The Wall and some other tracks are dope. Then there are glaring fuck ups like not having the full Easy Bake track on the album. Just doesn't make sense to waste a great SZA hook and cut a dope Kendrick verse like that.

I think Stoned on Ocean is cool, but isn't amazing. Its the kind of "keep these 3 songs" mixtapes Currensy has been on autopilot on the past year.

Still cool.

That's why I've tuned him out tbh. I haven't even listened to the Alchemist thing he did this year, despite being such a Covert Coup fan. It's just the same thing over and over with no growth. That wouldn't be a bad thing if the music was interesting but I'm just not into it anymore.

"DMX Interview With The Breakfast Club! His Heart Stopping For 4 Minutes, Never Squashed Beef With Jay Z, Expecting His 15th Child & More"

If you actually listen to what he says dude's dropping some gems. Comes off as a nice guy. Why is he so antsy/twitchy, is this some sort of side effects of drugs, or a medical condition? Honest question.

Yeah, I want to know too.

Also, it seems like people forget that Jay Rock dropped Follow Me Home. That album is super underrated. I still go back to it from time to time, and that's the Jay Rock that I want to see more of.

They've said he's been like that since before the drugs. Drugs probably made him a little louder, slightly more antsy in the ways you might expect an addiction to, but the personality, energy and eccentricity is apparently day 1.

Go back to this and Black Friday often. FMH had some filler, but the overall theme and sound is more suited for him.

This.

I recognize my white privilege and know I am a guest in the house of hip hop but Spitta is trash now man. Admit it.

Wtf absolutely not. He outputs a lot though so it tends to get diluted but he still puts out one hot project a year. The last pilot talk was underrated

Project ET was kinda boring from future for sure. Still the man was putting out too much dope shit. Something was bound to just be ehhh at some point.

Damn, Snoop has been on a roll recently. Goddamn this is fire. Need me CDQ.

Damn that Future hook is AWFUL. Jay is underwhelming, track is underwhelming.

Video is dope though. I love when Jay comes out to support, wish he did this more often to actually help artists, though. Maybe it's better when he's more selective so it matters more, but if he wastes it on shit like this, where is his quality control at anyways?

Damn this goes. Vibe is on point.

This is so cheesy. So blatantly poppy.

Lil Wayne, Wiz Khalifa, Logic, Ty Dolla $ign, Imagine Dragons & Ambassadors - Sucker For Pain video. Off of the Suicide Squad soundtrack. I'm OK with this.

Rae Sremmurd - Do Yoga. These boys know what's up.

Consequence ft. Kanye West - Don't Forget 'Em (Remix). From the vault. Never heard this before, good song and classic Ye production.

1000Volts (Redman & Jayceeoh) - Lights Out. I'm wit it.

Tink - Count It Up.

Vic Mensa - Free Love ft. Le1f, Halsey, Lil B & Malik Yusuf - Free Love. What a line-up.

MadeinTYO ft. Travi$ Scott - Uber Everywhere (Official Remix) video. La Flame's remix is better.

No Malice - Jesus Christ. <- Reading that would make any Malice fan not want to click, but it's better than anything I've heard him spit under that moniker.

Brian Fresco ft. Chance The Rapper & Blue Hawaii - Higher.

Nia Long bought a cherry thong because of Oochie Wallie.
