God fucking dammit this looks amazing, so sad this will go absolutely nowhere when a remake would be straight money.

Jokes aside, I still believe we'll see a Snake Eater Remake soon. No way Konami created all those cutscenes just for a pachinko game.

So what's the response from Japan been like? All I the backlash I see is from the English speaking audience. Is the Japanese audience the same or do they look at it and go "That's neat"?

Well, pachinko is a thing there and video game themed ones are nothing new.

It looks so fucking beautiful. It saddens me to no end that this isn't actually a remake.

Looks AMAZING, holy hell.

All this effort for a fucking slot machine is just unreal. Konami is just trolling at this point, they have to be.

Imagine if Konami hadn't gone to shit. Bet you they were already working on the assets for an MGS3 remake during the tail end of MGSV's production. Then the remake became a pachinko game when Konami took the turn.-
That's seriously what it looks like, I'm afraid. It doesn't make sense to go this far creating original content for a pachislot machine, and the fact they had a PS2 cut scene throw in the mix hints that this was cobbled together.

Also did it say there using 126 GB of RAM?
124Gbit ROM, not RAM. So, a 16GB ROM.

Even if they did remake snake eater with these graphics and V's gameplay I wouldn't buy it. Will never support their shit.

Thanos acquires the fully powered Infinity Gauntlet in The Avengers: Infinity War, but loses when all the superheroes team up together to stop him.

At least it would continue the trend of forgetting about Solid Snake.

This is the fate of, in my opinion, the greatest game ever made.

Konami is amazing. Just retrofitting a classic into their gambling endeavour. "She was a true PULL THE LEVER! WOOP WOOP WOOP. PULL THE LEVER!".

Eh, I wouldn't get my hopes up.

Making CG movies isn't exactly on the same level as making an entire game. Especially for an experience as complex as Snake Eater. Trying to replicate all the smaller details from the original sounds like a suicide project.

This was the best part (more like Viewtiful Mission)

And the weirdest part might be seeing how they made Pachinko Ocelot resemble his old self more than the weirdo with a trapezoidal jaw ever did in real MGS3 (same goes for MGSV's Baker Ocelot). Someone in Konami's pachinko dungeon cares more about visual consistency than Kojima Productions seemed to in over a decade.
