NeoGAF Fantasy Football League (No Quitters 7) | Keeping Cloudy's Legacy Alive

Congrats Bishman. We didn't have entirely different strategies, but I can say in every league I've been in this year Bortles+Robinson was in the final. It wasn't just skill or whatever; it's the fact that the Jags were playing junktime 24/7. For fantasy, that's GOLD.

It seems we have to vote in the leaguesafe thing, I see absolutely no way to do it though

Thanks!

I didn't see anyone else in the league draft 5 WRs to start to the draft. And I drafted Bortles in the 12th round.

Any update for this upcoming season?
Latest update I have is that Cloudy has renewed the league for Season 8 and the following teams have agreed to return for another crack at the No Quitters championship...

Angel's Superb Team {Sinistar}
Bail Kings GAFcoast {Crazymoogle}
Ember Island Players {GCQuinton}
Foxhound {Bishman} * DEFENDING CHAMP *
Good As Gould {rinker}
Long Island Broskis {UberTag}
Me Lucky Charms {Cloudy aka The Commish}
Redbull Express GAF {acksman}
SirGarbagemen {Sir Garbageman}

Still waiting on everyone else to hop into their Yahoo! profiles and re-enlist for the 2016 season. Any holes will be plugged on a first-come, first-serve basis at Cloudy's discretion once the new OT goes live... which, given precedent, I ought to tackle shortly.

I propose we move to FAAB for waivers (stop rewarding bad teams with higher priority. also another strategic element managing your waiver wire budget throughout the season). And adding another flex spot. 2 flex that are (W/R/T).

It will add more skill and more strategies can be implemented drafting your team.

I'm a huge proponent of FAAB... have been for a while. I was actually thrilled when Bishman won last year via his shrewd drafting choices as opposed to getting gifted multiple top waiver wire free agents as it was a nice change of pace from past seasons and his smart decision making was rewarded. Would have been thrilled had Crazymoogle won for similar reasons... dude almost ran the table.

But that's ultimately Cloudy's call even if the majority of us are in favor of it.

I'm not as opposed to a 2nd flex spot - one that would allow you to field 3 RBs on a given week - as I would have been in the past given how depreciated in value the running back position has gotten. Although I think the appreciable change in drafting focus this season and a potential 4th wide receiver slot each week might encourage the opposite scenario to emerge leaving little receiver depth on the wire.

I'm always in favor of putting decisions in scoring format to a vote - I rather like it when an active lineup decision is tricky on a Sunday morning and the feast or famine guys either go off on your bench or deliver a goose egg on your team's roster.

oops just saw this. Would love to play. can't wait for FF this year.

I played a 12-teamer with a $50 buy in and I got 1st place last year, so this sounds great for me if you guys have any spots left.

I'm using the league safe URL on the front page but when I'm signed in and click on it I am not shown our league. Nor can I find anywhere to put in the identification number....What am I missing here :( I can paypal if that's ok as well.
