It's a bit of a bumper year for games if you like both big and small stuff, but CSH is still a day one pick for me. Looks fantastic.

@Robert
You must be so excited at the positive reactions- congratulations to you and everyone else that worked on it.

What is the process to get this up on PSN pre-order page? Are their small sacrifices involved, or just a timing thing? I still haven't quite figured out how they determine what goes up on PSN for pre-order and what doesn't.. Do you need to have a 100% solid date first, or could CSH be part of one of their indie cross promotions?

@Robert at Zeboyd Games - I see that it's available for pre-order for $10 for the PC version on your website. Is that effectively a pre-order discount? Will there be a similar one available on Steam when the Steam page goes up? I have Steam wallet that I'd like to spend instead.

We've submitted new store info & assets to Humble Store so that price will be replaced with the $15 price soon (maybe with a small discount like 10% off). Anyone who wants a Humble Store copy and wants to take advantage of the old price, should hop on it.

What about PSN? Any hope Sony can get it up on the site early?

Looks very good. I'll be getting it.

If I have one thing I'm not crazy about its the artstyle of the actual drawn out characters. It isn't doing it for me compared to the rest.

Regardless that's such a minor complaint, looking forward to a more solid release date.

I can't seem to find the page. Does anyone have a link?

Edit: Okay, so I'm seeing the price on the Zeboyd website, but does Windows mean Steam? I'm guessing that's just DRM-free.

Maybe. There's been some talk, but nothing set in stone yet.

It's not on Humble Store yet (we submitted everything to get it up earlier this week), but there's a Humble Store widget on our site (zeboyd.com). The widget currently uses the old price, but will be updated soon.

It's through Humble Store, but our plan is for Humble Store to also have Steam activation.

Releases date for vita yet? Stoked

Goal is to have Vita version come out at the same time as PS4 & PC.

But given you are doing a old console-like RPG here... Have you considered (post release?) DLC with soundtrack arranged by virt?
He seems to have quite a way with making great music in-line with older sound hardware restrictions.

No plans for soundtrack DLC, but if talented composers want to contact us & Hyperduck about doing remix albums, we would think about it.

There's a Steam key included with that Humble Store copy, right? That's all the confirmation I need.

EDIT: Never mind, I just saw your post above. $10 for a Steam key before release sounds great.

EDIT2: Bought.

The Humble Store widget on our site (zeboyd.com) has been updated. Now it's $15 ($25 for special edition with soundtrack and other extras) with a 20% off preorder discount. Humble Store DRM-Free copy of the game plus Steam activation.

The actual Humble Store page will probably go up sometime next week.

Kind of sad to see this wasn't included in Sony's PLAY 2016. :( I hope it still has a chance of coming out this summer.

We tried to get it in PLAY but we just weren't done in time.

On another note, I'm playing through parts of the game on the hardest difficulty and it's too fun. I'm extremely pleased with how well this combat system has turned out. I'd pit it up against Grandia, SMT: Nocturne, and Etrian Odyssey as one of the best JRPG battle systems out there.

Sounds great I can't wait even more.

Any word on when this is coming out Robert? Trailer said Summer and believe it or not there is only about 8 weeks left of summer.

I am going to guess late August. How's that for a guess? ;)

Cosmic Star Heroine has 4 difficulties - Tourist, Agent, Heroine, and Super-Spy. On the Super-Spy difficulty (the hardest one), most battles are taking me multiple attempts and when I do win, it seems like most of the time, all my items & programs are used up (they refresh each battle) and most of my party is dead or dying. :)

Please don't tie a trophy to that madness..... Sounds tear inducing, lol

What exactly does that entail? Is it mostly damage modifiers, or are you putting more powerful enemies in places that they wouldn't be in the easier levels?
