I feel like most of the "not flattering" shots have much like a not-flattering photo of someone you've already seen and you know they look good.

FFXV is a good looking game. We already know this. We've played two good looking demos, and the final title will look and run better than those.

The occasional shitty screenshot shouldn't worry.

Some of those shots are pretty impressive and would probably look amazing at a higher resolution.

I'm not convinced the game is going to be great, but if it comes to PC I might pick it up just to see those environments in full HD.

Lightning smiles and... I actually cried when I saw that scene originally. I was a weak little high schooler and knew what it was like to be the burden on ppl. But y'know now I'm all grown up so maybe SE knew I needed a dudes adventure

It looks as if some objects in those screens don't cast any shadows even though they are in a well lit environment.

I feel the same way. The "monsters" in FFXV are so beautiful and act so natural that I have a really hard time attacking them. No way I'm slaughtering a garula flock and no way I'm going to kill one of those graceful antelope/giraffe like monsters.
Several times they said they wanted nature and wildlife in FFV to feel like setting foot into a National Geographic documentary. They totally achieved that! But who with a heart would now want to slaughter als those beautiful creatures? D:

I also think its the more modern setting. Somehow its feels different to "hunts" at a time when people needed to hut for food.
In a time where you have cars, restaurants etc, it just feels unnecessary to hunt... for food. I guess it just seems like they are hunting for sport which personally I've never agreed with.

Im still going to get it though :p

That could lead to some really awesome combination attacks. If I'm reading it right, you could activate the turn based mode, tag enemies and prioritize, set up your attacks and assist moves, and then execute and watch the spectacle unfold.

Really stoked to see how far they've come from Duscae and Platnium.

For example?

During night there should be more monster kind of animals / creatures coming out, for example goblins came out in Episode Duscae when the sun set.

The further you get in the game the more the world is supposed to become fantastical and that's probably when the more monster-like enemies appear.

That is one fine looking video game. I just hope it plays better than the Platinium Demo. That was so underwelming...

Magnificent shots. I like them a lot. Possibly the first mainline FF title I will play since XII. Can I also say that BROTHERHOOD is really well done. The stories are truly heart-warming.

Wow, a very unique looking game. A bit less cohesive and polished than some recent releases, but the art style kind of makes up for those blemishes.

As long as it runs okay I'll be happy. An upgraded version would be sweet though.

It's a Final Fantasy XV thread, what do you expect? ;) Over in the World of Final Fantasy threads there are also always like two dozen people like: "Why is this so much better than FFX?"

Ravus would surely have a better chance of being memorable if he didn't look as much like a Sephiroth clone. Especially with VIIr looming.
