Wait, what's the source on this? The guy just kind of says it. I don't doubt it's true, but would be nice to have someone back this up.

Use on whom tho lol. He's like a teenager that never grew up (mentally).

Is he doing this on purpose? I mean, trying to lose? I just don't understand what's going on with this guy.

Funny story (and true).

In the mid-60s, a think-tank group in Washington D.C. produced a study on the efficency of nuclear weapons and on how quickly the conflict in Vietnam could have ended if they were used instead of mass troops.

Lyndon B. Johnson invited the group to the White House, specifically to ask them if the algorithm they had used for that study could also measure how quickly it would take for Americans to scale the White House walls if he ever did that.

You know I wish he had given the name of his source but that's frowned upon in Journalism if the guy was speaking on terms of anonymity. Which he most likely was.

Joe Scarborough used to be on the Trump train and he no longer is. Maybe comments like that changed his mind on Trump.

We just need a little bit more background noise.

How is it even possible that someone like him is the republican candidate? HOW? Tha atlantic is not big enough for this shit.

At this point, if he was to actually win, would it be acceptable for someone to assassinate this mad man? Surely the safety of the world as we know it is at risk if he becomes president.

Right, I believe it is true, but I came into this thread expecting evidence that Trump actually stated this. It'd be a smoking gun if he had.

You know, I was always worried about the remote possibility of Trump getting elected, but now I'm legitimately afraid.

Yeah I mean if the statement is real, that's incredibly scary, probably the most scary thing I've heard about Trump the entire campaign. It is a bit of hearsay though, so that adviser might have to come out into the public eye eventually.

I've seen Threads, Trump is the most likely person in years to throw us Brits into that scenario. Americans, for gods sake go out and vote. If I hear a single one of you voted Trump because "you thought he wouldn't win" or didn't vote Hillary because "I knew she was going to win" then I will be so severely disappointed.

You know full fucking well that if he vaporizes some city in the middle east that the Republicans will immediately go on air and blame Obama.

All you're doing then is making him a martyr and ensuring that the people who'll follow him will be even crazier.

The problem isn't whether Trump said it or not, the problem is that Trump is now a candidate that everyone would believe he could say it.

Trump stopped being funny a long while ago. Honestly, I don't even care anymore about the misogyny, racism, bigotry, xenophobia, petty insults and everything else. This man is a threat to the world.

When you actually do not understand why we cannot use nukes and are advocating for using nukes against others and arming more countries with nukes, you are a threat to the security of the world and I would vote for any candidate that isn't you.

I guess it's time for Reince Priebus to drop the Lucky Charms and just go straight for the bottle. Well, by now its probably bottles.

Does the public service's mission of cleaning up after the political elite extend to assassination or do they just have to vainly try to talk sense into him as the world burns?

I'm convinced at this point that this man will be responsible for the deaths of a huge percentage of the human race if he wins.

Do not fuck this up America, please.

Maybe it's a legitimate question, like, he really doesn't know why we can't use them and everyone just looks at him funny when he asks and he really has been running this entire campaign as a way to find out why.
