I have that cpu with a GTX 1080. Should be trying it out in around 15 minutes.
Cool. I only have a 1060 though so hopefully it runs very well for you!

Deus Ex: Mankind Divided - PC Performance Tuning Guide (by NixxesSoftware)

How long did the decompression / de-encryption post-patch take for everyone?
Friend is getting 12fps @ 4k 1080 SLI on the Very High preset
Around 10 minutes for me, on an SSD and an i5 4690k.
Cheers.
~25 minutes, I'd say.
I was hoping I would be fine ughFriend is getting 12fps @ 4k 1080 SLI on the Very High preset
If you have a decent PC you'll probably still be getting better performance then consoles (and better controls...)
It is 30 fps and lower settings on consoles. Unless you are getting lower than 30 fps on like medium/low settings, you will have the better experience on pc.
Why? the game doesn't run particularly well on console and all reports have shown a decent PC port.
Wasn't TotalBiscuit supposed to post a performance review or something? I know he has other things to deal with, but just wondering.
Chance of Deus Ex video being ready for launch = pretty much zero. Encountered a game-breaking geometry issue which we're trying to diagnose

Just ran the benchmark in game with everything Ultra and had average 63 fps and min 50 so I'm pretty confident turning down something like shadows to High will boost a lot. Time to jump in the game and see how it goes!
Welp, I guess Im gonna have to cap the game to 30fps at 1080p with an AMD 290X
Jesus.
Probably ran out of VRAM honestly.
Thx. I have 7 mins left apparently... not bad for an ancient SSD and Core i7 930.
you were hoping you'd be fine at 4k at almost max settings? maybe reign in your expectations a little bit.
PCGamesHardware.de updated their benchmark table with a lot more GPUs, might want to add it to the OP.

Very High is not max settings. Playing on High now and it's still fucked
Hm, not a great article. They don't even mention Contact Hardening Shadows, which is apparently one of the biggest performance killers.
A note on volumetric lighting, shadows, screenspace reflections
Popping these up to their highest level can hurt performance, but like a lot of settings in Mankind Divided, dropping down to 'high' rather than 'very high' or 'ultra' doesn't result in a huge dip in image quality, but can make significant improvements to framerate.
Any 4K benchmarks yet?
Yup! I think this is the most demanding PC game ever created to date.
