Does anyone know when the skill tree part is showing? Cause I swear it was part of their stream for today lol unless they just totally forgot.

One thing I'll say about FF15 is that in the 4+ hours I played while it definitely isn't the best, its camera was never as weirdly disorienting when playing as it always seems to be when watching somebody else play. I wonder why that is.

I hope the other chocobo races are against someone elses than the bros, and that they end up looking more harder. How many chocobo races have they said are there, 32? A tournament would be cool too.

Haz never locked on in any part from what I could tell. Perhaps you actually knew to do it.

I thought the lighting was still pretty in the PS4 version. I think they've ramped it up a notch again. The Xbox version however...it looks just plain bad everytime we see it.
Not compared to where that scene was at before. Not just lighting, but DoF and motion blur used to be on point as well.

Looking at her character model and other pics i don't see anything of the sort. Didn't notice it in this stream either. Making stuff up ducky?

I missed her entrance. Did she do her pole dance entrance like from the versus trailers?

No, she doesn't pole dance anymore. She now just does one half-turn so she turns feet to spear-end and then the lance spins. Its a lot simpler, less pole dance-y and still strong as an entrance.

Lol, you don't have to argue about that with me. I am the one trying to convince certain people for a while now that they actually downgraded the lighting. Some still claim it is the exact same...just different time of day. ;)

Looks like the XB1 version has also improved a bit in the latest build.

It's 2 hours different TOD, but there's additional foliage, UI adjustments and I doubt it should make that much difference in the shadows.
(The PAX one is from the Twitch stream that was garbage quality, so don't bother comparing IQ or textures...)

It still looks alright. Nothing to be really concerned about unless we're talking about the XBO version.

Okay but why did the rocks move between builds?

I was thinking maybe some of that stuff is procedurally placed.

But also, maybe the guy in charge of placing rocks (I'm sure there's one) needs to make his salary until the game releases.

Well, that would depend on the actual scenes lol. In this case, it was an enclosed space and they seem to have removed the lights that made that scene in particular look really good along with the MB and DoF.

Looks like the XB1 version has also improved a bit in the latest build.

It's 2 hours different TOD, but there's additional foliage, UI adjustments and I doubt it should make that much difference in the shadows.

Foliage looks improved.

That is actually quite the upgrade. Way better textures (even visible in this shitty quality stream) on the wood construction, more trees and more detailed trees in the background.
 
Like I said, they will be slowly increase the visual fidelity as they figure out what to optimize. Still a lot needs to be done, not to mention QA.
