Uh, I certainly expect a variety of weapons in JRPGs. It's not like a chainsaw of all things is unusual.

Kind of a shame. Machine weapons look like the only weapons that maintain unique active abilities per weapon. Big step backwards from Duscae in my opinion, but at least it's making machines stand out as probably the coolest weapon type right now. Digging them, particularly that black hole move.

Considering they devote an entire grade to stealth, I'm wondering if stealth/sneak attacks/sniping will be a larger part of the game than I think. Like, I'm not expecting MGS, but...
