Bane? Get them on board, I'll call it in.
I remember a while ago Clyde Mandelin mentioned the absolute difficulty of trying to translate Trump into other languages (specifically Japanese since that's his specialty)

I couldn't understand half the crap Trump was saying, it was all word vomit and nonsense. He's basically become the Old Man Monologue ("So I tied an onion to my belt, which was the style at the time").

You can call Trump "real", but realize that it's not a good thing.

The blonde girl in CNN right now is even more punchable than Trump himself. I hate myself for feeling like that but damn wth is that..she's just so ignorant.

Wow. MSNBC anchor telling Christie they have pages and pages of lies fact checked.
Christie is practically saying they don't need to rely on facts.

Gotta say, I really didn't like Hillary's fake smiles and calculated humor, especially under attack, but I think that tenor probably got under Trump's skin far more than my own, and that led him to stumble and never recover.

She's a woman. Ergo, everything she says is politically correct.

But no seriously, nothing that she said really came off as politically correct. I kind of feel like I'm missing something there.

Why don't moderators have a mute button?

When their time is up, let them finish their sentence and mute their ass.

That's something that we've needed for a long time. It would really make the debates less grating. Should be included in primary debates too.

Trump is batshit insane, and his comments about global warming not being a priority made me rage but at least he is making his stupidity transparent.

Hillary is a cold robot spouting an irritating politically correct script in order to win and push the establishment agenda, I'd fear that even more.
Nah, I'm just saying that both are horrible candidates. Just give old Barack a third mandate and do a favor to the country

Do you not actually know what "establishment" means?

Clinton showing her policy expertise isnt noteworthy. A lot of her attacks were in the vein of what we've already seen before. It's hard to see why an undecided voter would have been convinced by anything she said that she hasnt already said multiple times as opposed to Trump just falling on his face on race, taxes, and gender subjects.

I think if you're Clinton, your three targets are:
1) Make the bizarre 10+% of people polling for Johnson pick a major candidate
2) Make Republicans who have reluctantly embraced Trump stay home
3) Shore up marginal supporters who supported her after the convention but bailed over the last few weeks because they got gunshy

I don't think you care about undecideds, many of whom are not going to vote.

Yeah, you sure sound like a Trump supporter. If there were ever a template that wasn't "obvious white nationalism", this is what it would look like.

So good job there.

Water is not wet!
The first 30 minutes had me covering my eyes but Hillary pulled it together and Trump fell apart. Feel much better now. Cant wait to see the polls for this.

well yeah

there's a reason she said the name of the web address out loud like 5 mins into the debate

getting people on her website is a big win, even if they don't donate
Aight, Just wanted to check, since it seems that some people are really confused about the image.

Not an American myself btw, I'm from The Netherlands, but man, Trump was so awful (as usual).

I don't think they were fake at all. You can only hold it in for so long while Trump is rambling saying absolutely horrible things and keeps digging.

Wasn't following the thread. Was it just me or did Trump basically admit that he paid nothing in taxes when they were on the subject?

Doesn't that speak more to our flawed tax system than anything else?

Of course a smart businessman is going to exploit our shit tax code.

MURDERED.

The part about him not paying taxes one year and "that makes me smart"...omfg. Then everyone that DOES pay regular taxes are dummies??

How did Clinton come off as sticking to a politically correct script? She certainly sounded like she had rehearsed and gone through mock debates, but nothing really stands out as overtly politically correct.
Saying nice things about black and brown people is political correctness now.

Just some notes I had during the debate about shit Trump was saying

-- Rooted for economy collapse
-- Lied about being a global warming denier
-- Admitted to tax evasion
-- Admitted to not paying employees
-- Confirmed he would attack foreign soldiers for a simple taunt
-- Said racial profiling is okay

I'm pretty sure this had to do with the beers I've had, but I had a full range of emotions tonight. When the unexpected topic of US's allies popped up (With Japan being mentioned over and over), I screamed when I heard "Japan and other allies we are protecting does not give us enough". Followed up by Clinton's "We have an alliance with Japan and other allies and I promise to protect them", I straight up broke down crying. For a good 10 minutes. For someone that gave up his Japanese citizenship to become an US citizen this year, it was a maelstrom of emotions.

I think I'll skip the drinks or the debate all together next time.
