I just tuned in for the last two questions. I am 100% behind Hilary, but she seemed really rocky at the end there. She brought up his rampant misogyny, but didn't directly tie it back into the question.

Trump was a raving lunatic, but that's exactly what's gotten him this far.

At this point, there is nothing Trump can do to squander his votes. It's all on Hilary to take them from him by being amazing.

Clinton used a lot of bullets in the chamber, so I'm wondering what does she have for the next two:

Central Park Five
Muslim ban (it was only skimmed)
I'm blanking on the rest

the wall
trump foundation
basically anything trump has said for the past five years

My thoughts.

Trump: Better debater, more charismatic, more suitable for foreign policy. His domestic policies would be disgusting.

Hillary: More sane, totally better at domestic policies. She never wanted to address Trump head on though which worries me.

Conclusion: I still don't like either candidates.
You couldn't be more off-base.

lol, Fox News correspondent upset Lester was interrupting Trump and not Hillary. Also upset he didn't bring up Benghazi or the Clinton Foundation

She did pretty well overall.

If I try to look at the debate objectively, on race, NATO, and women I think Donald faltered pretty badly, but otherwise I think he was basically winning each topic. I'd say the debate was probably a tie, if not slightly in Trump's favor.
What other topics did they even talk about? He looked awful on race, crime (profiling?), guns, foreign policy (what was his plan?), taxes (either his own taxes or his policies), birther garbage, gender issues, "the look", and lost hard on his "stamina" attempt...

Can you make a list of the topics you believe he won? I think he should have simply stuck to his message that she's been in Washington long enough to show she can't do the job or is otherwise part of the ineffective establishment that will result in more nothing getting done. Which while wouldn't be very objective could at least be a simple point for the undecided to latch onto. He should have gave every topic a critique from that angle and continued to stay away from the details, and most certainly away from taking all the bait she was lobbing out.

What did I learn? Noooothing.

What did I gain? A headache.

Going to go to bed and hope I don't have a hangover tomorrow.
Were you already an expert on hillary's policies then? Because that was all she talked about for most of the time so if you didn't learn anything you must be a super fan!

We hating on Holt? I thought he did a pretty good job. Perfect balance of challenge without outright aggressively calling him out and giving his punk ass a claim for bias (he will claim it anyway).
I didn't watch it, but looking at summaries makes it look like Holt did a good job calling him out on BS (Iraq, taxes), without seeming bias. Dude did his job, basically.

Hillary made trump look weak and disoriented, which was exactly what she needed. An emotional victory over him instead of a data driven fact check (people don't give a fuck). She won.

If Trump doesn't tank in the polls. I don't even know what will tank him.
Trump's floor and ceiling in the polls seem to be pretty close so his numbers might not change. What we will see is Clinton's poll numbers rise again after a dominant debate performance.

Don't worry, I'll vouch for them.

I don't know what you look for in a debater, but any middle schooler would tell you that you are wrong in thinking that Trump excelled.

Hillary is very liberal and has tons of experience.

Trump is batshit insane, and his comments about global warming not being a priority made me rage but at least he is making his stupidity transparent.

Hillary is a cold robot spouting an irritating politically correct script in order to win and push the establishment agenda, I'd fear that even more.

What debate were you watching? She spoke clearly and coherently, and offered actual substance to counter his empty blather. Her answer on racial bias was exceptional. Her points on foreign policy revealed her experience and depth of knowledge. And Hillary called out Trump several times on specific lies, dirty dealings, and outrageous statements he's made. And through it all she looked confident and presidential.

She did plenty.
Clinton showing her policy expertise isnt noteworthy. A lot of her attacks were in the vein of what we've already seen before. It's hard to see why an undecided voter would have been convinced by anything she said that she hasnt already said multiple times as opposed to Trump just falling on his face on race, taxes, and gender subjects.
