What NEEDS to be shown, in order:

1. System AND controller, don't forget that Wii U left a lot of people confused;

2. The official name, explaining why they went with that name/concept;

3. At least one new game (can be just a teaser), and use Zelda only to show how much more powerful NX is when compared to Wii U, "on the new system we can blablabla";

4. Date for the full reveal, don't leave fans in the dark from now on, keep the hype going;

5. A release month, is it still on track for March 2017? It'd be a great way to end the trailer for multiple reasons.

It's a huge miss if the battery life isn't great. One of the few areas a gaming handheld can hope to compete with the phone already in your pocket is by having vastly better battery life for gaming.

If my (non-explosive) Samsung Galaxy Note and the NX give me the same number of hours of gaming before their batteries go dead, the NX is a less attractive option since I have to have the phone on me.

Nah. For one, people don't want to run down their phone battery for games. So even if has worse battery life than a phone, it would still mean you wouldn't have to touch your phone battery. Plus if Nintendo is smart they will let you charge your phone off the NX. They would be a bonus feature.

That being said, I don't think Nintendo is going to compete directly with phones so I don't think the NX is going to be as pocketable as a phone or as even a 3ds. I think it's going to be a tweener or portable console. I think they are going to try to fit into a slightly different space in the market or create a market for that space.
