1. real name will cause a firestorm on its own.

2. proof of concept game is going to be mario, of course

3. controller reveal will explode the internet

4. partners will be: ubisoft, EA

5. zelda, pokemon, mario, no new franchise

6. $299

I really doubt EA will be in on this from the start, they're extremely cagey with Nintendo. They didn't even do much on the Wii or DS, let alone far less successful platforms.

Ubisoft is likely as always, but I expect Nintendo to learn from what's worked in the past and continue to lean on Japanese partners rather than continuing to fail securing development from the west.

Emily could predict every lottery number for the next year and people will still hate on her for no reason.

I feel like if you're in the game industry or at least a fan and don't have direct knowledge of what the NX is, you'll likely be tuning in tomorrow to see what the hell Nintendo has been doing.

It'll be interesting to see what the concept is (I think there's some things we're missing still), the name, and how info rolls out from here.

I'm not expecting games, the price, or 3rd party support announcements given it's only 3 minutes.

I don't expect to see any games at all.

This is going to be a sizzle reel at best.


Expect actors. Expect many Canberra settings around the console and controller. Expect it to highlight its feature gimmick.
Don't expect games, a price, 3rd parties etc.
Just the console. And actors faking fun.
