Yeah there is a point once all the secrets are pretty much common knowledge that they are basically forced to show something.

They also have to show investors that they have "game".

I haven't been excited by a Nintendo reveal since the Gamecube. Was ecstatic when it got shown. Loved it.

I was excited for the Wii reveal, but devastated by what they showed. I hope they deliver today.

Honestly, 3 minutes is barely any time. I wonder how much discussion will sparked from the video. That said, I understand the point of a succinct video for now just to get people's tongues wet, and I'm at least happy we'Il see the system design and hear the name.

After seeing so many mock ups in NX speculation threads I wonder if the actual system will fall in line with those or if it'll take people by surprise in some way.
