Lately I'm having a lot of problems fowarding my games and goodies to my country... (Brasil).
I tried Shipto for 2 Years, but the high prices on consolidation and shipping cost made me stop using the service...

I'm using Viabox now, the consolidation is free but the shopping is expensive as hell... And the last packs were taxed (60% of the item price+shipping cost+16% of state taxes... And since they dont attach the shopping cost outside of the box, they always add an additional Fee, usually +100$...

Any of you know a better service?

If I had a friend or someone in US to send these packs, it would be great, even paying for the trouble to pack and sendo stuff, but I Dont...

Shipping internationally with any sort of reliable tracking method has gotten quite expensive for average use from what I've seen. I used to offer limited support for international shipments, but the cost just started getting to the point of absurdity for both myself and any potential buyers.

Not to knock you or your location, but when concerning Brazil, it doesn't surprise me at the slightest to see all sorts of fees added upon since it's one of the major hotbeds for shipping issues. Heck, even with various forms of insurance and what-have-you, there's zero guarantee you won't see a loss when shipping to Brazil or other similar locations. The risk factor is just so heavily skewed against the shipper.

I found out something when I went to the Post Office yesterday and wanted to pass along because I thought it was good info!

I shipped something that weighed 15 ounces and was mad because I knew I'd have to pay Priority instead of First Class. Usually a difference of about $3.00. First Class has a maximum weight of 13 ounces. Just for the hell of it, I tried selecting First Class and, lo and behold, it let me choose it!

When I went to drop it off, I asked the clerk when they changed the maximum weight on First Class and she said that they haven't, BUT, if you print your postage online, you can send up to 16 ounces via First Class (instead of 13). This only works online, though. If you bring the package to the Post Office, First Class still only goes up to 13 ounces. AND, you still have to drop packages above 13 ounces off at the counter with a clerk (instead of just throwing it in a mail slot or big blue box).

This is awesome news for me because it seems like I frequently have packages that weigh 14 or 15 ounces.

Yeah and in general always buy labels online its way cheaper.
Like I mentioned earlier... you don't even need to go to the post office. You can schedule to have stuff picked up off your doorstep.
USPS makes so much more money off peoples ignorance regarding postal rates. For instance people think flat rate is always cheaper and will use that when they can.
