Toads are annoyingly generic in the Mario platformers, but every now and then you'll get awesome Toad games like Captain Toad or Color Splash (yes, they mostly look the same, but they've got great characters regardless).

Toad is a fantastic racer and supposedly a very good friend of Mario. The Toads instead are useless characters, they keep damaging his public image. Thank god he's got his friends Captain Toad and Toadette who keep the standard high.

Of course. Toads are charming as hell. The only thing Nintendo should do is give different Toads different looks. The only downside to them is that they all look the same.

Nintendo could drop about 80% of the current cast and I'd be happy about it. Koopalings, baby characters, the flavor gold metal characters, and especially Rosalina are all shit.

Toad isn't particularly offensive, but I just don't care about any of them other than Luigi, Bowser, Peach, Drybones, Shygirl, and that evil fucking face from Super Mario Bros 2 that never stops chasing you (he's very motivational that way).
