Fran Bow is absolutely fantastic

Edit: also sunless sea should be good for the laptop no? Still need to play that

So, we're 1/3rd of the way into November and Sega is still silent on their PC port plans for this year.

Any bets? Possible early-2017 Yakuza 0 port within a quarter of console launch?

Dishonored 2 is running sorta okay for me, it still dips a lot but it's significantly better than the PS4 version I played on my PS4 Pro today, good lord that game plays like complete ass at 30fps on a controller. The lowest it ever went for me was about 45fps, so I'm confident a patch can smooth things out enough, just hope it's soon.

PuzzleGAF, anyone played Pixelus/Guru Logic Champs/Snapdots? I need help:

gurulogicchamp-16111279uxx.jpg

How do I solve this one? I spent better part of an hour looking through various ways to set the pieces, am officially stumped(TM)...

(We should totally have a community(?) puzzle help line thread)

gave away the keys to the kingdom.
Now it is. 2-3 hours ago it still said "Forhåndskjøp Dishonored 2".

Forhåndskjøp = prepurchase

The way the "early access" was handled was that the release state of the app itself was changed, so even if you'd bought a post-release copy from a retailer, the game still would have been playable "early". Really, in practice the promotion wasn't early access but rather an extra 24 hours to snag the pre-order bonus a la MGS5.

But for real I'm expecting either a surprise drop for the autumn sale or winter sale. Seems like a Sega thing to do.

Seeing as SEGA EU themselves aren't publishing 2 of SEGA's 3DS games, I take it as a note to not see them in similar light to SEGA US or Japan in terms of their operations.

They really aren't? Bizarre. Sega is weird and I'm surprised they are still around with the amount of fighting they have had.

Alright, now that I've spent some time in Xanadu Next I have to agree that it indeed is pretty good, thanks for recommending it guys!:D

Seems like a perfect audiobook/podcast game but I'm little conflicted, since it has so good music and it does so much for the atmosphere..

Yea, for me at least I'd rather play with the in game music on.

The music of the REAL Eternal Maze is the best track in the game IMO.

Need recommendations for MP games to be played on a lan (preferably not local co-op, but over nw). We already play lots of Rocket League and CS, but it would be neat to mix in something like Smash Bros (are there smash "clones" on Steam?). We tried Lethal League, but it didn't quite work (I love it, but my friends got frustrated by the mechanics, couldn't quite figure it out). Preferably 4-6 player games.

What's the REAL Eternal Maze? I've gotten to the place with the music of Eternal Maze.

I was wondering also, does the chance of getting keys from cutting down bushes go down the higher level you get? At the begining I got a bunch of keys very quckly from that but now it feels like it takes alot longer.

Yeah, an announcement would be nice :/
Vanquish seems like a possibility.

Dunno, I think it's easier to just buy them in the shop and selling some bones to keep the price down.

Finished Oxenfree.

Very good game. Interesting story, great atmosphere throughout with some really creepy moments sprinkled inbetween. Can see myself doing another playthrough sometime.
Only some minor nitpicks.
You being able to 'talk over' others by selecting your dialog-choice is sometimes very abrupt. It does allow for some really neat moments though on the other hand. The
quarrel scene at the top of the tower
was amazing because of it.
And something that bothers me in all the games that do it: It's often very hard to gauge how a dialog-option really turns out based on the text you get for making your selection. It's especially bad with sarcasm. It wasn't only once where I selected an option and the tone was like the opposite of what I wanted to actually say.

Now debating whether I should get back to God Eating or play a few more smaller games, hm.

A shame it was deleted before I saw it, I was wondering if they would be the first people in human history to do a heartfelt recommendation of Call of Juarez: The Cartel.

From what I recall, they were mostly recommending Postal 2. I didn't see CoJ:TC mentioned, but I only skimmed the thread.

Anyone bought the three-month Humble Bundle subscription? Tempted to but still having second thoughts.

Also... are the 10% off codes working for non-new subscribers? There's no way of getting a spare code from others right?

I started Skyrim from the beginning now that the Special Edition is out. Last time I played was like 5 years ago and I only reached level 17, so I won't lose much, besides, I didn't remember anything.
The question is... should I play on 1st person view or 3rd? I really like 3rd person view, but what do you think?

Rivals of Aether is excellent, but it's more of a competitive game rather than a "party game" and it's limited to 4.

I'd recommend Awesomenauts, you can find it pretty cheap and it supports 6 players. I didn't play it years so I don't know how it is now.

Legion TD (a DOTA 2 map), is a lot of fun lan, spent countless nights playing it with my friends. It's getting a stand alone release as Legion TD 2 by the original creator.

I have lots of recommendations but I don't know what do you want exactly, are you excusively looking for lan only games? No online/local multiplayer games? Do you want party games or competitive games?

Shit, ME Andromeda is apparently DA:Ilike?

third person is kind of poop, but you can just switch between the two to see how you like it, I find myself switching between the two every once in a while, since I like third person games better, but first person is the better option, don't know if there're mods to make 3rd person better.

I played on console and I remember 3rd person's movement/attacks were actually kind of clunkier, it might have something to do with having a few extra frames of animation that weren't there when you're in first person mode. Picking up objects and aiming are also easier in first person mode.

Duck Game is a fantastic smash-ish game, but it only has local multiplayer and online, no offline LAN.

Risk of Rain is a ton of fun over LAN.

Pro tip: if you turn up the volume of both the podcast and the game to unbelievable levels, that no one in their right minds would do, you can listen to both at the same time, it's great!

Watched Gamespot Dishonored 2 review. The negatives are lack of difficulty and under-utilized new enemy types. Play doesn't change much from the beginning to the end. You were already overpowered as fuck in the first game, really?
