Izetta Episode 8:

Well, you knew the secret was getting out at some point and honestly I am ready to move on to the next phase of the story.

KING OF THE BRAVES GAOGAIGAR #20 The Zondar Teacher.

Episode focused on Mamoru set in school and it has mechas? Everything I love in mecha anime right here. Favorite single episode of the anime especially when they were trying to escape and some of the friends displayed new courage stuff.

Magical Girl Raising Project Episode 8
Well, things are definitely starting to kick off, this episode was just absolutely brutal. The last 4 episodes are going to be an absolute bloodbath.

While I expected people to die this episode, how Winterprison and Yunael went out were brutal, what with one bleeding to death and the other having their head caved in with a rock. Other than that, It's nice to see that Snow White and Alice are getting along. Snow White still thinks she is creepy, but who wouldn't given the circumstances.

As for Bloody Mary, I figured she was an unstable person from circumstances at home, but she has just completely snapped considering she is outright murdering people on the streets in cold blood.

Izetta Episode 8
Germanian Empire I can understand with them being Not-Nazi-Nazi's and all...
but the United States of Atlanta? They can go bomb themselves. I want this fairy tale to have a happy ending, not the depressing one we are seemingly going towards

The reason I actually bothered with S2. Tsugumi's transformation was a pleasant surprise. Also, this gets bonus points for giving all the girls glasses.

If every anime had an obligatory Magical Girl episode we would have achieved world peace by now.

Bungou Stray Dogs S2 # 8

Sheesh this went nuts lol, with the stakes going into a whole new level now. Was pretty fun seeing Mark Twain, and the Moby Dick is really cool.

Feels bad I never hopped back in for Bungou Stray Dogs. Probably should since the posting date changed for it like it did.

I feel so sorry for the author and the director. The former got traumatized so much he denied the existence of the anime and the latter is overworking himself just so that entire mess of a production doesn't crash completely.
What a mess.

I'm expecting Chitose to bounce back from that backlash immediately and I wonder if that seves as a wake up call and makes her take her work more seriously... but somehow I kinda doubt that.

Easily the most fun episode so far. Lots of great Narag moments, I'd love to have that cat shogi book myself.

Huh this looks nice and dumb enough. Will watch.

It has easily some of show's best bits so far, so since you enjoyed first cour more or less, i'd recommend it.

A beach episode in an anime about making an anime that is about filming a beach episode with the VAs that will be included as bonus material for the blu-ray release of the anime in this anime.
Truly next level.

Chitose bounced right back after like 5 seconds, as expected. Truly, what amazing baseless confidence.
But this was really good. I liked how we got to see different sides of many characters, and how everyone has their own problems to deal with.

Also, the producer is trash.

Can't do anything about fixing the beginning at this point, yeah, but Ubukata does get the chance to do a better (re)laying of groundwork when he handles the prequel Right of Left. That's where the animation and art get good as well, so you'll have to wait for that for your complaints on that score to be addressed. Sorry!

I obviously say this as a mere bystander in this but most of the people goading duckroll into watching this thing sure do seem to be moving the goalposts for when "it gets good" an awful lot, lol.

Personally I would never give something with Hirai faces the benefit of the doubt but hey! what do I know?

Is Domion Tank Police good? It looks rightupmyalley

Dominion Tank Police is great if you're into boner-inducingly sexy mechanical animation (dem tanks) just don't expect much in the way of character development, or resolution or, well, a plot of any kind, really.

I'm not moving any goalposts. Let me make my opinion clear: The beginning of OG Fafner is bad; when the writer changes around the midpoint the storytelling begins to make a steady course of improvement towards being actually effective and good by the end, and future entries continue to be effective and well done on this front. OG Fafner stays ugly throughout though, barring some parts of the one Bones episode. Right of Left takes its basic visual design and raises the execution from below par to notably above par. Heaven and Earth, when the franchise goes HD, then revamps the basic visual design to something very attractive and ambitious. That continues in Exodus.

Believe me, I was also skeptical of watching Fafner due to Hirai and it seeming like just another forgettable early 2000s mecha show - which it is at first. But finally watching it made me a believer.

It's not really inconsistent?
The original Fafner starts getting better after the halfwaypoint. But of course the art and animation doesn't suddenly get better midway, that only happens in the continuations.
Saying 'it gets better in the second half' and 'it starts looking better in the prequel OVA' doesn't really contradict itself.

That's literally all I'm into, so good!

It's all good guys, it's just as an outsider looking in it struck me as a little odd is all. Besides, I'm not the one you need to convince. ;)

Plus I'm sure the show can't be any worse than, say, the typical Bayformers movie so there's that, I guess.

Edit: Wait hold up a sec! I just wiki'd this thing and you're telling me it gets better once Tow Ubukata takes over writing duties? Tow. Ubukata. Of Mardock Scramble and GitS Arise fame is the writer who came in to save this show. Yeah now I'm really starting to believe this an elaborate attempt to troll the crap out of poor duckroll.

Narag would be proud.

The Ghost in the Shell movie trailer that played in front of Fantastic Beasts and Where to Find them, made the franchise look good, too bad I dropped the anime since it was very dull, though really only trying it cause the lead in Lucy was really good and shes in this.

Also TeamCredence, best part of fantastic beasts and best character after Draco Malfoy in harry potter franchise*

If you read his posts, duckroll is already being convinced! Jexhius also recently converted to the Fafner cause. Resistance is futile!

Sangatsu - 07

Finally Rei seems to slowly be taking steps that are leading him to a happier place than where he was headed. Lots of colour this week. It was also nice seeing how emotional he got (even if it was just seeing him pissed off) at the TV screen, since that is something we have yet to see until now.

Yuzu wants to bring S4 down even though she's S4. With her I'm unsure if she realizes the irony in that. Poor Ako goes through so much trouble trying to bring Yume out of her slump without any appreciation. And she still fails to realize Subaru only has eyes for the boiled octopus. At least she's really good at kissing up to Yuzu. Power levels are basically non-existent if Yuzu's group (1 S4 and 2 above average first years) can beat Sky Girls (2 S4 and arguably the best first year), especially with no rainbow magic involved. Though the real upset is The Admins taking the crown. Lily sneaked into victory. Yuri must have a secret up her sleeve. Which we'll never see. At least it's excused since they actually practiced for awhile unlike a certain other group. Tsubasa should stop saying she won't lose next time, because she's done nothing but lose so far.

Dragon Ball Super 67

Errrr...what? Why? After dying Zamasu turns into a Giygas level cosmic horror threat and begins to become a concept of the universe and then Zeno stops him???? What was wrong with Trunks killing him with a Spirit Bomb sword? They had to go and have a God save everything again.

Also Mai's pretty strong to fire that shotgun without any recoil. We sure she ain't a Saiyan?

I like how trejo thinks that I of all people can be trolled, as if I would watch something I didn't want to. Maybe if he had friends he could trust he too would understand the bond the animegaf cabal shares.

Is this bullying?

Occultic;Nine - 07

This show's strangeness is what draws me to it. This episode was actually the best of the 7 that have aired so far, and FINALLY it made me care for what the heck is going on.
