Here's how Doom loses the number 1 spot: Jeff attempts to underscore how amazing it is that there was a good Doom game in 2016 by pointing out how bad Doom 3 was. Brad resents this, which turns him against Jeff's argument.

Bullshit. Maybe in a weak year, but definitely not this year. Doom Slayer wouldn't even make a top 10 for me and i liked DOOM a lot.

Drew will be the dark horse for Doom. Him and Jeff will make a resilient duo.
Brad is a wild card. He really cares about Hitman, but Jeff might try to convince him that it's not as good as Doom. Dan will swoop in to save him, remind him of the good times.
Dan and Brad will darkhorse hitman to #1. Brad, Dan, Vinny, and Alex will form a coalition to make Overwatch #1 due to this new found alliance. Doom will be #3.
Wrap it up, ship it, open it up, and read it.
None of these games will be the chosen ones except for Dan and Stardew Valley.
