I used to be obessed with the original thread back when i first started reading GAF. It's been dead for a good year or so and seeing that the holiday season is upon us let's fill some stockings.

Post a gif that will get others interested in a game

My friend and I played through utter apathy to get to this point in the game. I gave up on the game being half as good as Galaxy many Worlds back, but to only finally reach any sort of challenge in the last world was insulting.

Then you'll love Super Mario 3D Land.

Man, good thing you didn't play it solo. The game is even worse playing alone; it only gets good with friends.

The first real disappointment for me in the eighth generation of gaming. Maybe my fault was thinking it would be anywhere near as good as Galaxy 2 which I just played, but man was that 30 FPS clunky and the level design was not fun. Also, it introduced mechanics like a button to sprint that I've hated since.

Played the beginning and a few middle chunks solo, didn't like it. There are too many platforms that are too large, like they were designed for co-op play, and the way the grab button was on the same button as the sprint was annoying as hell. The camera didn't do us any favors either, and the difficulty was just awful.

SM3DW is 60FPS.
