Tales of Vesperis and Infinite Undiscovery please.
OMG, a fellow IU fan. My man!
Tales of Vesperis and Infinite Undiscovery please.
Microsoft have stated that they are working on a solution to preserve them.
Licenses (starting with the karaoke)And still no Daytona USA, Virtua Fighter 2, Fighting Vipers or Outrun Online Arcade.
Backwards compatibility has been awesome so far, but I would love to see the following games added to it:
Assassin's Creed: Rogue
Assassin's Creed III
Dead Space 2
Dead Space 3
Splinter Cell: Blacklist
Call of Duty: Black Ops II
Batman: Arkham Origins
Batman: Arkham Origins Blackgate
Max Payne 3
Crackdown 2
Crackdown 3
I am sure there are more, but those are the ones that spring to mind.
I think... well... mmmm... there was no Crackdown 3, wasn't it?
Ubisoft kind of confirmed via twitter that AC: Rogue is not in their plans
Still waiting for Tales of Vesperia.
And still no Daytona USA, Virtua Fighter 2, Fighting Vipers or Outrun Online Arcade.

Out of curiosity, what's the reason that Microsoft needs to relicense every title for their BC effort, whereas it never appeared necessary in the past (PS1 -> PS2 BC, Wii -> Wii U BC)? I assume them being able to sell digital copies of games is a factor? Could it also because of their emulator solution, which requires tinkering with each game?
Yeah, but they also shutted the platform a few months before they said they would support, who knows if that's still the plan?
Microsoft have stated that they are working on a solution to preserve them.
Why these articles keep forgetting xblig?
SOOOOO many good games for so cheap. I wish the press yould make a big deal about it so Ms can preserve it going forward as well.
Ya they mentioned that in he major Nelson podcast and I never even thought of that hahaIt's funny to think Microsoft is actually the largest publisher this year because they are obtaining publishing rights for every single one of the BC games they put out.
I have it locked and loaded. Just waiting.Still waiting for Tales of Vesperia.
I wonder how much it costs though. It's funny to think Microsoft is actually the largest publisher this year because they are obtaining publishing rights for every single one of the BC games they put out.
IU is about the only major jRPG left on the 360 that I still haven't finished. I'd would certainly give it another try if it became BC.Tales of Vesperis and Infinite Undiscovery please.
Once they bring Crackdown, I'll be a happy camper. Oh and maybe the original Modern Warfare.
Unless I missed these???
Daytona USA shouldn't be a licensing issue if they currently still able to sell it digitally, I'd imagine.
Outrun is probably screwed though unless an Outrun 3 gets made.
I wonder how much it costs though.
So many licenses, do they even turn a profit on the copies sold on Xbox One?
Yea but I wonder how much it took for Phil to get it up and running. I'm sure it's very important to him, but it couldn't have been cheap.I doubt Microsoft cares too much about turning profits on individual games. They'll probably make profit on the bigger games like Red Dead and Black Ops, but I'm sure they're fine taking a loss on smaller titles. The bigger the BC library, the more 360 gamers they'll have moving over to XB1, which means more people they can sell current gen software to. I'm just one person and this is definitely anecdotal, but the BC announcement was what ended up pushing me to get an XB1.
And still no Daytona USA, Virtua Fighter 2, Fighting Vipers or Outrun Online Arcade.
We're scraping the bottom of the barrel now if these are the biggest omissions...
I can understand MW1 not happening, but 2 and 3 would be nice; people who started with Infinite Warfare and MW Remastered can then go back and pick up the Modern Warfare Trilogy pack and finish the story.MW ain't happening.
MW ain't happening.
Music licensing is a bitch. Karaoke stuff is even worse.
Plus like someone said, streaming of said music/ karaoke could need a license.
We're scraping the bottom of the barrel now if these are the biggest omissions...
Where the fuck is Crackdown?
I can't believe that with Nier: Automata on the horizon, they haven't gotten BC for the original yet.
I also need:
Lollipop Chainsaw
Condemned 2
Naruto: Rise of a Nina & The Broken Bond
Vanquish
Tales of Vesperia
Eternal Sonata
Then I can finally free up the space used by the 360.
