Call the all gameplay shallow just because the is a there is one slide animation but prising a platinum game which all melee attacks are basically a slide fest. What would you call that?

No it isn't. It's amazing and it really isn't comparable to how this sounds, at least judging from the OP. Comments on the actual game certainly sound better than the story bits.

Funny thing is that the impressions from the leaker are really positive, but nobody seems to pay attention to those. It's all about an ending, taken entirely out of context.

Game takes 20 hours to complete, around 45 hours to 100%, difficulty level Zero Dawn unlocked upon completion, makes every robot creature corrupted, with a few different AI moves and loot
No story DLC planned, but an arena mode will come in Q2-Q3 2017
You can override pretty much any creature in the game. The flying creature will actually let you fly around the map, which is pretty cool. It's one of the last things you learn in the game
The world is huge. It's Witcher 3's Velen huge, with no oceans as a cheat to increase size. Desert, Tropical forest, hills, ancient ruins, snow mountains are the 'biomes'. Feels like a very traditional RPG, which is surprising to see coming from Guerrilla

Nah they do what most other games do .
Pick one ending as canon and move forward which is why i really dislike stuff like this .

What would interest me is how this runs on the vanilla PS4, can't wait to hear impressions about that. The game has been marketed as a PS4 Pro showcase since the Pro's unveiling. Still I hope it doesn't look too shabby on the old model, but I am not confident since hearing that The Last Guardian also performs poorly on that one.

It's just one impression of course, but according to the leaker, pretty much all the testers dug it.
We'll find out soon enough I guess.
Leaker says it runs well on OG PS4. Only real negative is pop-up, but it was an unfinished build.
please don't take the weird small vocal minority of gaffers that seemingly want the game to fail to be representative of the general audience. this game is going to be huge and received very well
I think there's a prevailing misconception here.
What is a human? An organic self replicating machine created by chance or a "creator" depending on your perspective. What is Aloy, and all the other humans which populate the world in the game? Genetically engineered self replicating organic machines. They're human they're just not directly descendant of the original humans. Or perhaps they are and were made from stored stem cells of the original humans. Who knows? There's a lot there to still flesh out

Ueda games have been performing bad forever so I wouldn't take the last guardian as an example. Haven't heard about any worries from impressions we did have on base ps4

I wonder why people leak stuff like this... and why people who will play the game read it.
I only care about general info.
I haven't beat FFXV but what I'm reading here about Horizon isn't exactly inspiring confidence in me. I imagine it'll be better with context the game gives you, but what's written in the OP, if true, isn't very good.
I have a hunch the people who were quick to come in and go,"See this confirms the story will be shit" were not likely to play the game in the first place. Just a hunch of course. This doesn't just go for Horizon either but most any case were something like this happens.
