Mario 64 is overrated. :v
And i hardly ever say that about a game or series

Now mario galaxy? Sign me up for some of that
I've come to realise I barely like any 3D platform game, Mario 64 included. They don't engage me at all.

Since it's getting close, I have a legit question. Has there been even a hint at Nioh coming to PC? PR speak, rating leak, etc. Anything?

As far as i know, none. It wasn't explicitly stated that it's not coming to PC ever either - so i guess it's one of those cases where we just have to wait and see. KT has a bunch of PC ports in the works, and since most of those were announced several months ahead of their planned releases, i'd say not to expect Nioh in the nearest future.

Apparently dragon quest heroes 2 for the switch will include a character from dq4
Would be silly to make himmwxclusive to that ver :p

Are there any decent (and not bank-breaking) BT headphones?
Last time I checked (few years back), they all had sub-par audio quality and bad battery life... Did anything change in the mean time, or are still wired ones the way to go?

Liking Crash more than Mario 64 is probably illegal somewhere.

Or at least should be.

I like both for different reasons. Comparing the two sounds a bit silly.

This just sounds crazy.
To me at the time Crash was the awful platformer with an awful protag that people had to settle for because they didn't own N64 and Mario. And time hasn't been kind to it at all.
It's always been a mystery to me how some people remember Crash fondly. Spyro was the PS1 platformer/collectathon that was actually good.

See, I think you have played Crash a long time after it was released, so you are missing the context: each episode was visually and mechanically a breakthrough at their release.

Alrighty, safe to buy elsewhere, just wanted to know before I drop $50 or so.

I wonder when SE will start to port DQ games on Steam. I mean, there's no reason to not do that.
Prob for the same reason they didnt release dq7 or dq8 on 3ds close to their jp release
They suspected there would be lack of interest for it i. The west
Personally though i would def grab dq 4-6 should it ever pop up on steam

I did play them when they were new, and nothing about them stood out as visually or mechanically interesting. In my mind they occupy a similar space to Pandemonium games.
But to each their own of course.
¯\_(ツ)_/¯

In 6 days. Believe.
S-e are holding a final fantasy event by end of jan
He might be referring to the Japanese release date of DQ Builders which was Jan 28 2016, that's coming up.

Crash 1 pushed the psone to its limits, such that running the game was like overclocking the psone to do so

Say what you will about Crash Bandicoot 1 as a game on a artistic, enjoyment, or a game mechanic and design level, but from a programming and technical design side it's still amazing how they got it to work and make use of the PS1 hardware.

http://all-things-andy-gavin.com/2011/02/02/making-crash-bandicoot-part-1/

Also Pac-Man World was better than Crash Bandicoot game wise.

Ah Sentai, the only product where I feel Bandai is doing right in their design choices for 2017

Actually speaking of Bandai, couple of games worth a look that they are publishing besides Little Nightmares.

Get Even, a adventure mystery/thriller game

Impact Winter, a 30 day survival game against the winter.

It's too bad Get Even seemingly became one of those "Running around with your mobile in first person" horror games. I hope it will be good despite Daylight being the first game that came to my mind when seeing the "re-reveal" of sorts, been following it since its original reveal.

I bought a gaming laptop with a 1060 around Black Friday.

Defective speakers, so I sent it back to Newegg for replacement.

OOS, so they refund it. The $$$ that bought a 1060 laptop at Black Friday does not do so today.

So crash 3 was super over clocking

Nope Crash 2 and 3 weren't that demanding I think. There is an article online about how Sony told ND not to express Crash 1's utilization of the PSOne hardware at the time.

I'm the minority that liked Crash 3 than 1 and 2

anyway

Didn't realise that there was a new Wonderboy port available via Steam. Based on the first game.
What's the verdict?
Doesn't seem that impressive.
Both the other coming Wonderboy games seem to be of a higher quality.

They probably count as bank-breaking, but ATH-SR5BT are pretty nice. They sound great, have 30+ hours of battery life, and can be used wired if the battery runs out or if you want to use them while flying. The downside I've found is that it seems to be bad at remembering paired devices, and I constantly have to re-pair when I switch between Linux and Windows.

So, I managed to complete VA-11 Hall-A: Cyberpunk Bartender Action.
First, as you know I HATE visual novels: this genre simply isn't for me, but I bought the Humble Bundle because I was interested in Deadbolt and N++ and since GAF praised VA-11, I decided to give it a try (you know, people giving it a GOTY etc). I didn't expect a visual novel anyway, since the Steam store page doesn't label it like that (if not for user's tag, but we know often that's used improperly), but something similar to Snatcher (plus the ACTION word in the title made me think about Kojima's references, at least in the gameplay).
In the end, the game was nothing else than a visual novel. Even a boring one, in my opinion.
First, the story of each character is not really so interesting. The cyberpunk element is very thin and it doesn't influence the game''s plot at all. Sex in the main topic in the game, but the whole thing seems written by a child (expect a lot of jokes about tits, dildo etc, every two seconds). I don't know, but this seemed really childish to me, out of place, forced.
If sex was just an aspect of a large plot involving this society etc, it was ok, but the way the argument is handled is very poor.
The gameplay is just boring, you do nothing except making drinks, but there's no challenge. There's also a mini-game you can ply, but I can't figure a way to shoot so I gave up on even trying that.

Anyway:

Also Space Sentai Musou game on Steam when Doggie?

Sentai sadly doesn't work with Musou in a sense that it loses the team aspect. It's why W101 is the perfect Sentai game.

I'm feeling the same about the game. I haven't finished it yet though. How long did it take you?

Around 7 hours (I had 4 hours from idling it).

It seems I'm about halfway through (day 10 if I remember correctly).
