It's a revered game that people ask for a sequel to on a regular basis. A remaster would have some interest, and would get people excited for a potentual sequel. Nobody cares about LA Noire.

It's Rockstar a company that did not release RDR on PC despite huge popularity and is not releasing RDR 2 on PC day one even after GTA V huge sales. They can do whatever they want so I guess a Switch version alongside PS4 and Xbone is possible.About RDR2 I doubt Switch is powerful enough to run it while not breaking the games vision.

Yeah, I remember that initially. Somewhere down the line, I kept hearing/reading about how bad the game was. I own it for the 360, so I contributed to the initial sales. These days, not much but contempt for the game for some reason. I still don't know why. I had a lot of fun with it.

It's not that they wont or don't want to, it's that it would take considerable resources to get that game running and looking great on PS4/XBOX let alone the switch because of it's messy development.

La noire is fine and all, and is a welcome
Addicirion to the Switch libeary but sometimes I have to wonder why Nintendo doesnt open its 10
Billion dollar war chest and have a 250 million dollar fund for third parties to get their money back if ports dont make profit. Its in their best interest to build a sustainable userbasd and they could fund atleat 25 high profile games with it.

Anyway is LA Noire any good ? Never got to play the original.

Bully didn't sold that well, i would be surprised if it sold 1/4 of what LA Noire sold.

I like LA Noire, and it's one of the few Rockstar games I've actually beaten: most of their games overstay their welcome IMO.

I don't think I've ever felt like I wanted to replay the game, though. Or if I have, it's been a very rare occurrence. RDR is something I've wanted to go back to a bit more often, but even that I'd much rather play on PC, to be honest.

The GPU is small for cost and battery life but it has modern functions. The memory and cu are ample. Should not be a problem.

I really liked the game, but I don't see much of a sense in buying a game I already have in my Steam library. But any 3rd party support is welcomed for the Switch. If I had never played this, I would be interested for sure.

What does this even mean? Because Switch is on par with a 360 so it can't run a remastered last gen game?

It has more than 6 times the amount of ram for games, which was the biggest bottleneck last gen, a modern featureset and more raw power.

If this is true I imagine Rockstar is going the route Capcom did with Resident Evils 4, 5, and 6:

Release your ports/remasters in order of ascending popularity.

Resident Evil 6 in March 2016
Resident Evil 5 in June 2016
Resident Evil 4 in August 2016

If they put Resident Evil 4 out first then interest in the lesser beloved sequels would have been a bit squelched. If Rockstar was to remaster GTAIV, Max Payne 3, Red Dead, and LA Noire, why put out their least popular title first and lose all fanfare?

Bully is also a much older game, bringing that game to new consoles to a visual standard that is more acceptable to new audiences would likely require a lot more work.

LA Noire is a great game, but seems like just such an odd thing to start with.
