I'll check it out, I remember someone stating that it was pretty average in terms of gameplay.

To me it feels like a protype of what can be a promising action game. There are issues with the AI being too easy for most of the part, the environments are extremely flat and the combat is simplistic with not much depth to it. I think not selling it full price its the right thing cause at 60 bucks Im sure many would have feel ripped off by the game. The story is good and the game has a decent length if you want all the endings and complete all quests.

Gentlemen, we can rebuild it. We have the capability to make the world's first enhanced store. Steam will be that store. Better than it was before.
OpenCritic.com review data is coming to Enhanced Steam in the next update

This will display alongside the Metacritic data if it exists, and if not it will create it's own section to be displayed in. In addition to this, I'm planning on doing the same with the "Reviews" section on the left-hand side.

Of course if you prefer not to see this info on the page, it can be disabled in the settings.

Hmm... for some reason I can't get my X1 controller to properly work on the Steam version of RE7. The left stick and shoulder buttons all work fine, and it seems like the face buttons work OK too, but the right stick doesn't do anything. It "knows" there's a controller there (I can turn on and off rumble, for example), but it won't pay any attention to the right stick (which makes the game impossible to play). This happening to anyone else? Don't see any mention of it on the Steam boards.

NVM: there's some controller driver that's causing my controller to freak out across all games. It's not just RE7. I'm not sure why, but i'm going to blame Razer for this, even if it's not their fault.

NVM2: It apparently has something to do with the new Steam "you can remap any controller you want however you want" thing.
YES! I'm not the only one with this issue! :(

Thought I was going crazy. Fuck. Once I disable remapping for X1 controller my games work normally.

Must be a bug? Really annoying the activate it to remap a game, and then deactivate it when I'm playing a game that doesn't require remapping.

What's the point of Opencritic if Metacritic still exists? What does it do better?

Metacritic has some arbitrary weights they have alloted to certain reviewing sites, I don't believe open critic does this.

I don't pay enough attention to those threads to give anymore details.

Aw man, after getting RE7, Berseria, and Icey, i'm at 499 games. Now i'm paralyzed... game 500 can't suck! Maybe i'll just pre-order the new South Park or something.

Correct, OpenCritic is more "open" about how it weighs the score and doesn't assign more weight to a particular source. Their scores can be re-calculated by anyone so it's publicly verifiable. They also assign scores to non-scored review sources "Recommended", etc which is nice.

Additionally, they're a review aggregation site just for video games. They don't have to make arbitrary restraints on their systems to accommodate movies, tv shows, or anything else.

It's honestly a pretty good resource and I'm happy that I'm going to be able to be including it. It's something I know I'll use personally all the time.

Did anyone else get this offer?

I resubbed because that + selling xcom 2 makes this basically free but I can't see my credit anywhere.

I'd say it looks like a 2560x1440 screenshot with 8xSGSSAA though. Oh no it even shows the FPS counter I have to figure out how to remove this!

No 1080p lock, great.
No 30 fps lock, great.
D3D9... Hmm, okay, easy GeDoSaTo support, might be okay.
How's the framepacing though?

Oh god, that person in the Atelier thread who tries to convince people drawing maps in DRPGs only works on DS/3DS, and would be terrible on PC. The horror, the horror....

The Castle of Illusion remake is actual a pretty nice game. Cool environments and decent difficulty. If you have it in your backlog, I recommend you play it, it's only about 4-5 hours long. Keyboard controls are kind of wack in 3D spaces though.

I really liked it myself but its like 2 hours long dude, 3 at the very most, I dont see how you could squeeze 4 much less 5 hours out of it :)
I collected everything, lol. That probably throws off my estimate.
