Yeah, not to burst anybody's bubble or anything, but those insides all just look like typical store display model advertising. I don't expect those to be inside actual retail copies.
Can't wait to not have this in NA.

...why would Nintendo design and print different versions of the covers just in the off chance someone who isn't a curious fan opens one in a store? I've never seen someone open up a dummy case, the only reason you'd ever do that if you were stupid enough to think a disc would be inside.

No substitute for manuals.
Not to worry, NoA will completely fuck it up by putting MyNintendo ads on there instead of beautiful artwork.
2nd to last (SE classic style RPG) game is what again? They showed very little in the conference.
I don't think so.
EDIT: Your followup post provided a lot more evidence why. You should have started with that, lol.
Well I hope they do print something inside.

Because they often put display models on shelves which you take up to the counter in Japanese electronic stores. For example with Wii U games, they also have these cardboard cases with an "open me for more information inside" cover.
Not to mention that Zelda and 1 2 Switch have yellow "open" signs on the top corner of the cases saying "More details inside the case", Super Bomberman R says "Sample" in grey in the bottom, Dragon Quest says "Open the package to look at the inner presentation" (roughly), Disgaea says "Please look at the inside", and I am Setsuna says "Please look at the more detailed information when you open the package" (roughly).
I Am Setsuna

This needs to be in the OP lol, sounds like the most likely situation.
Why do so many people hate this? I think it's cute. No worse than when Banderas was spammed every two posts back in the day.
Yessss, I love those cases. NOA pls.

The cases look sleek already, but since I'm all for minimal packaging, they could even be smaller for my taste. Maybe like NDS cases, but thinner.
I'm 20 years old. I was in elementary school when I first played a PSP. Sooo yeah. Sorry about thatNostalgic for PSP?
Yet another reminder that I'm old.
No substitute for manuals.
I cant unsee this.
Yeah just decided to take a look at some PS4 games I had and all the first party games had some neat interior art for it. There were a few 3rd party exceptions though; GTAV and Firewatch both had some interior art and I guess any games that had a reversible cover also technically has it as well (like FFXV or Doom). The rest were just plain white w/ legal info like you said. I've always noticed some games had interior art and some didn't but didn't realize it was mostly first party games that were doing it lol.On the PS3, it was mostly just first party games, with some 3rd party publishers also doing it. Not all publishers did it on the PSP either, really. On PS4 most games just have the legal information like warranty stuff. First party games seem to still do it, though Knack just shows the controls.
