Glad to see Youto mature a bit more in this episode and trying to help fix an issue when he realize who wish was causing the problem. Unfortunately, this weird love affair with three girls is getting more complex than it need to be and look like Azusa might trigger another wish once more when she mistook a scene between Youto and Tsukushi.

Wow, Yuri on Ice was better than I expected. I have a soft spot for shows that manage to get me interested in a whole new medium. Rakugo did the same this year. I didn't even mind the overuse of reused footage. I won't be salty about it winning the best anime of the year over at Crunchyroll.

Interviews with Monster Girls Episode 4:

Yea, the luster of this show is wearing off very quickly given that we are devolving into literal afterschool lessons about tolerance for multiculturalism. Also, yea, hugging students like this is not good even with the innocence filter.

Interviews With Monster Girls 04

less after school lessons and more horny succubus

are there even spider women in this shitty universe?

The spider women probably have no extra eyes or appendages and just spit silk or something lame like that.

My boy Kennosuke's heroism levels were off the charts at the end of that ep and it was so great to see the bureaucracy step aside to let him ride forth.

It's been probably decades since the last time we've had similarly well produced episode ...

... of hentai.

Hmmmm

almost done with Rakugo season 1 at the point I had left when I had to watch it week by week. Once I got over the fact that I'm not particularly interested in the actual art form of Rakugo and just viewed it as the device that ties the drama together, it became a much more enjoyable show.

Pretty crazy turn around for this show. It totally has found its identity, and everything now flows in a much better way than before. Although the occasional comedic relief is still sprinkled here and there, this is a much more serious show now. Not only that, it is a lot more interesting to watch both visually and plot wise as well. I'm liking this quite a lot now, and I'm glad that I stuck around.

Isn't this like monster girls 101, but you all are more like

Centaur's Worries is awesome. Its about having like 500 different ADA bills because you have to accommodate the entire DND monster manual into your society. It also tends to go on extremely weird tangents about aliens or Illuminati snake people from Antarctica and then go back to being a normal Slice of Life the next chapter.

And the main centaur girl just wants to be princess carried, which is impossible

Way to ruin your fantasy setting with awful robots. What is this Zelda ? /s

----

Watchable enough I guess ? MMORPGs/Isekai are a subject that pretty much begs for mockery and it's a series that is crafted well enough so because of that, I can see why people like it. It still however worked too rarely for me on the comedic front to think much of it. Darkness in particular was a character that I found to have very little variety to her schtick. Pretty sure her introduction was where i dropped it originally so a whole year did not change my mind on that front.

Didn't care for the first season myself but the second starts of strong since the cast's predilection fro being shitheads throughout the first cour is addressed.

I haven't quite been able to pinpoint why I like it so much but for some reason it's in the list of shows I'm going to be following this season and I can't say I was expecting that.

I like it because it actually feels like a good "affectionate parody" of Otaku culture and fandoms. Like, i could actually relate to the MC obsessing over which headphones will give him the best sound quality and look the coolest.

I can respect stuff like that over a series like Saekano, that got really obnoxious with it's meta.

Let me introduce you Emanuela as she make Youto dream come true where his high school turn into a beautiful place and the high school dress is a swimsuit and all the girls love it. So many fan-service in this episode and that ending when you found out the secret and the odd laugh at the end.

Yu-Gi-Oh!: The Dark Side of Dimension (engdub)

Worthwhile to see in the theaters (even ignoring the part about getting another Egyptian God promo card). The use of the 3D CG for the monsters and effects made it a blast to see because it just looked so good, all the godly dragons in Kaiba's deck made it fantastic (sorry never liked the magicians much and the Fruit themed ones didnt do anything to change my mind).

I wish we had got a Pharaoh v Kaiba duel in the real as I like him dueling much better than Yugi, though Yugi clearly grew some and actually did well for himself against Kaiba, but the opening Kaiba Pharaoh match was much much much better

Igami plot was alright.
wish we had got Yami Bakura in this

The ost was also pretty phenomenal though the times when no music was playing the anime felt like it was missing some life, fortunately the pauses werent to long and often they did have some pretty cheesy and witty Seto Kaiba lines. A kid in the audience laughed at each one which made me laugh a bit too, too cheesy.

Please watch. 9/10

Interviews with Demis is more like remedial monster girls.

I see. *takes notes*

The time with Juuzen and the school doctor is sometimes the funniest moments, just from their reactions, but then the rest of the episode was fun and pretty character development forward facing. Glad Aki and Haruko finally got resolved.

Iku sticking around for his Haru is nice, that backstory at the start and how Haru is starting to change his view is good development too.

Back from the cinema. Outside of fucking Grand Order, which sucks even more when you rewatch it,I had a great time.

The first moive was Garo - Divine Flame
I'm willing to give the movie the benefit of the doubt on many things, since I haven't watched the series.
Anyway, as far as I can tell the series seems to be fantasy power ranger meets Berserk.
It's a pretty odd movie, but it has some great action scenes.
Will have to watch the series before I can say more on this one.

Next was Assassination Classroom The Movie: 365 Days
I mostly watched it to figure out if I should pick this series backup ( I don't t really care about spoilers).
It was a succes, since I would really like to see certain scenes with the proper build up.
The biggest flaw was the ending, because it was so long and boring it lost most of the impact it was suppost to have.

I also watched the Hibike! Euphonium movie, but I don't have much to say about it.
Watching it on the big screen was worth it, but you should watch the TV series, unless you want to save time on a rewatch.

Grand Order still sucks ass. They often have random screen savers in the background in the attempt to distract how fucking boring and bland this movie is.
I also like how fucking useless Shielder is. Caster/Lancer is the one of defeats all the servants, while she does jackshit.

Finally and most importantly I watched Kizumonogatari I-III.
They are all pretty fucking awesome. Since I watched them all in a row, I have a hard time seperating them in mind.
For simplicity's sake, I gave all of them a 9/10 for now, but this might change a bit once I got some time to think about them.
The movies certianly solidified Shinobu and Hanekawa as best girls.
II obviously has the best action scenes, but the one in III has pretty awesome as well.

Active Raid S2 End

Well that was fun. The climax was pretty awesome and had basically every awesome thing combined:
space, everyone working together to boost one, traps and counter traps, secret final transformation, explosions,...
I still can't believe that one random sidecharacter that was somewhere in the background in every single episode for some reason ended up actually being somewhat important.
Was a fun ride with fun characters. The Sena-Miho relationship especially was always amusing to watch.
If there's one thing I find slightly disappointing then it's that plot-thread from episode 2 (the memory transplant episode) not having any further repercussions. The ending of that episode had a slightly ominous feeling but in the end it ended up being nothing :(

Welp, now I have to change my AOTS list again.
Edit: God damn, why are there only 10 spots in an AOTS list.
