Nope, I'm on "normal" Steam.
Anyway I'm playing AC Chronicles China, the game is...nice I guess, but the fact is: it's very repetitive. I did 3 levels, saw there are 12 in total and the worst thing is there are other two titles like this.

And if you cannot figure out a way to get access to a DVD drive then you are basically shit out of luck because their last piece of advice is pointing you to the generic Square Enix support website. However if you can get a DVD drive then you can generate a key which can be used/transferred anywhere, so it basically defeats the purpose of the entire exercise.

Publishers getting super weird about their CD keys these days. Also, this is not a region locked copy or anything of the sort because of where I live. It's imported from Europe meaning at least every European copy will have the same measure.

At least the steelbook is embossed and looks awesome. One store had a pre-order bonus where they were giving out a red necktie with the game lol.

This pointless hoop-jumping only serves to annoy customers. CDKeys sell Hitman keys before and after retail launch, this accomplishes nothing.

Yeah, he's not wrong in being anti-violence, but he's definitely missing the bigger picture. But that shouldn't be surprising, he wrote a "all pc gamers are pirates" piece like, six months ago.

Ah the old guilty until proven innocent.

Well, Milo did do some potential harm, so he is guilty of that.

But I do understand Blow's general point. Not everyone is completely aware of Milo and they only see the violence that stopped him from speaking. So if the flavor is violence to get your point across, eventually it can be watered down to, "I don't like what this guy is saying and everyone agrees we should punch him in the face"

Granted that's a slippery slope fallacy, but still. People are dumb. And if punching people in the face is not only encouraged but considered an "American Duty" if Twitter et al are to be believed, it's... well a bit concerning to say the least.

I was having problems with even getting on Steam login for a couple of days and on lark I updated my AMD drivers and now I'm logged into Steam

Kwaan is a really interesting game. There is a kernel of an idea that I really like but it's seemingly buried deep inside of the game to the point that I wasn't completely convinced it was worth the time investment to seek out.

I still liked it, but I left wanting something a bit less obtuse.

That's the problem with Blow's statement and similar thoughts on protesting. They deal with people like Milo as an abstraction because there isn't really any other angle that would allow them to defend people like him.

People do dumb and violent shit all the time but I'm hard pressed to take a person who would be quicker to defend a Nazi than an unarmed black child seriously.
