Philip DeFranco is a news youtuber (not a drama channel), and one who considers himself a moderate, so neither left or right.

Here's his video about the Berkeley riots for an example of his stuff

I think his videos are actually good, but i rarely see him being mentioned here, which is why i was curious what the general consensus is about this guy.

That's the point of his show I believe. To not be bias, to not have an agenda, to not be someone like Keemstar who calls people a nonce/pedo without evidence to witchhunt.

Then when people question him, or offer opposing opinions he sends a rally call to his followers to attack the individuals.

I like him. I like the way he presents the news and is for the most part fair. When he makes a mistake, he corrects it.
What I like most is that he makes it clear distinction between facts and his opinion. He will cover a story like this. Give facts and context, provide both sides of the arguement if neccessary, allowing you to come up with your own and then gives his own opinion. Sometimes I do feel he needs to express his opinion a bit better and more aggressively but for the most part is fine.


Also got a feeling a lot of Gaf wont like him, experience from the South Park thread.

He's a white moderate that is left but enjoys "Liberal tears" basically. I stopped watching him he argued that Hillary and Trump were the same and the election is essentially deciding to die by fire or water.

He tries to act like he is some intellectual because he can play Devil's advocate with every issue. Though some of his true colors showed when he degraded and insulted the mother in the Harambe zoo situation, but offered kind words and asked for understanding for the white mother that child got eaten by a alligator the next day.

I am subbed to him because he keeps me updated on the crazy shit that goes on in YouTube and I usually agree with him. However, as many have mentioned, it really annoys me when he doesn't take a stance. I found myself watching this particular video and not being able to agree with him with some of the things he said. I can understand not defending the violent riots, but defending hate speech? Yeah, no.
