I remember hearing about that a while back and completely forgot about it until I read the title again. That game looks really good and I need to keep up with it.

D'oh. Took the wrong Realms of Arkania. I already have the trilogy on GOG and was going for the remake. Turns out multiples aren't allowed.
I actually highly recommend the games. I've beaten the first game of the trilogy. Pretty hardcore and in-depth (some of the skills are completely unused) but it's worth playing. Someone should claim the other trilogy key, it's really good.

It's almost pure non-stop action/arcade bliss~~~
My best clear time is 3hrs 40min; the game is built around high replayability.

I might be crazy enough to do that this weekend, was planning to do one with a short VN but I guess I'll do both of these then

That's still like 20 bucks cheaper than we have to pay for most big "60$" releases these days, though. Plus, if it's anything like Attack on Titan it won't get any deep discounts for a while. Seems like a decent price to me. Not that I can afford it right now, though...
I'm way behind on the manga, anyway. Anything post-Golden Age would essentially be spoilers.

Yeah, I really need to. I actually read a bunch of it years ago but fuck if I remember any of it now. The only reason I remember Golden Age is because I've been through it like 3 times at this point (original anime, manga and more recently those horrendous CG movies).
I was hoping to buy the books before the game's western release but, as it turns out, job hunting is a long and difficult process.
