Played next one.

The lowest fps drop was like 55fps for me in close room with like 7 NPCs and full 4 players. Generally the game runs at around 90+ fps even in heavy battle.
GTX1080 + 6800k@4ghz in 1080p@x1.25 on Ultra.

For finishing at 5 wave we got 5k credits, for finishing fully bronze we got 13k credits.

Looks quite good i would say. Crappy screens, because i just pressed screenshot key in random, more quiet moment :)

How are people playing this already? I have Origin Access and pre-ordered but can't seem to download it in my library?

Edit: Nevermind I had to switch from Standard Edition to Deluxe Edition to get the link for some reason.

I just scrolled down to the bottom of the store page beneath the "purchase" and saw the origin access trial link (I'm waiting for the DL to finish, and I'm waiting for GMG codes so I haven't purchased yet on origin)

So I'm downloading the trial right now. It reached 42% and is supposedly playable but when I launch it I just get a black screen. Anyone else face something similar?

Edit: NVM uninstalling the Corsair Utility Engine works. The fuck?

100% repeatable full system crash after taking the tram.

Windows 10 64-bit/i7 6700K/980ti

Using the latest Nvidia drivers.

Go to the store page of the edition you preordered, and you should see a link to download the trial there.

So I've got a 4K monitor (well, TV - KS7000) and I'm trying to play the game at 1440p for better performance. But when set to fullscreen it only displays the game in a 1440p image in the centre of the TV, the rest is just black. Essentially like I was running a windowed version of it in the middle of my 4K desktop. Anybody know what might be up with that? Is it a game thing or my display settings on the TV/graphics card? 1070 owner.

EDIT: Think I found a fix for it in the Nvidia control panel. Weird how other games haven't done this though.
EDIT 2: Nope, still centers the image onto my TV rather than fill the whole thing :/

"playing" dumb? unpossible
So it seems like you can't seem to speed conversations along by hitting a button like you used to. Am I mistaken?

Edit: I was hitting A. Hitting x gives you the option to move forward.

Please specify what "resolution scale" settings you're using everyone. It's possible people getting crummy performance are actually supersampling without realizing it.

dropping to 45 fps in 1080p with that setup is pretty bad tho.

Can you make a PC performance thread? It's better to have all the performance talk centered in one thread.

What is happening, it's like a really low resolution despite being on 1080p?

Frostbite engine games often have resolution scale setting, which can allow you to both supersample, but also render below your selected resolution. I don't know what the settings are for this game on that front, but you should look into that.

PC gamer preview is already stating it will fall well below 60 FPS @ 1080p maxed out without a 1070.

Getting into the graphics settings, there are also some serious annoyances, starting with the consolized interface. Press space to select things, not enter. Ugh. Even worse, if you select the high or medium graphics presets, you'll find medium enables 900p scaling and high enables 1080p scaling. The only way to turn off scaling is to choose the custom preset, or just go for ultra quality. But ultra quality even at 1080p will often fall well below 60 fps, unless you have a GTX 1070 or faster GPU.

I have that auto scaling off and that slider on 1.0. As far as I can see, there is no straight up 1080p option.

Edit: nope, it doesn't even change anything at 2.0
Edit: nevermind. I found the option..

Yeah I can't get past the tram at start. Complete system shutdown. If you got one of those 980ti HP machines you might be fucked like me.

Sounds like this runs worse than Mirror's Edge Catalyst and BF1...and Dragon Age Inquisition.

Bioware doesn't seem to get Frostbite.

U guys who have gtx1080s/titans and 4k hdr tvs, how does it run in 4k? Is it possible to get a locked 30/50 fps with some tweaks? Is there hdr support (dolby vision and/or hdr10)? I want to know whether I should buy ps pro or the pc version...

Finally downloading via Origin Access... but it's downloading the standard version, rather than the Deluxe version I preordered...

Add me to the list of people getting the black screen.

Windows 10 64 bit 32 GB RAM Titan X Maxwell

I updated to latest NVida driver

The annoying thing is that its been taking up my play time since origin has been considering me playing the game. Even closing the black window doesnt end it - had to use task manager to kill the process. If people dont know how to do this and are waiting for the game to finish downloading but didnt kill the process, perhaps all that time its eating up the 10 hours despite the game itself not being played

Waiting for full game to download. What a disappointing start given that other people are saying even a full download doesnt fix.

980ti, i5 6600k, 8GB Ram, Everything on ultra and 1440p. Been running fine and around 50-52fps and some spots are a smooth 60. I will say when I first started when it was at 42%, I had alot of frame drops to around 35-40fps and stuttering and thought it was busted. I waited until the installation was 100% done and things got better. Gonna drop a few things later to get a more consistant 60FPS. I have been playing for about an hour or so and not really having much fun though. About to do the first mission after the prologue soon and see how things hold up there.

Having the blackscreen issue.

Windows 10 64-Bit
Core-i7 4790k
GTX 970

I don't have that Corsair thingy installed so I can't uninstall it as some sort of hail mary XD. Dying to play but now have to go to bed for work, I'll look for a fix tomorrow.

Can't figure out how to install this on Origin... under the Play First Trials section it just says "Learn More" for Mass Effect Andromeda unlike the other trials listed there.
