If you consider just beating the story missions as "finishing" a DLC then Destiny (and many MMOs) probably just isn't the game for you. And the first two DLC were 20 dollars not 40 iirc.
My mistake in regards of price. I did not feel the content was worth it at all. Yes, I did not all the content. But the story missions was basically mirrored old content. which pissed me off. There was a lot of factors for me ditching the game after that. Price, time since release, content. In any case D2 will have to really show something good to have be coming back. Releasing on PC is the first step.
Wait till people find out the PC version is locked at 30
Then it will be an easy choice not to get it.

If this comes to PC too there is a high possibility that it runs @ 60 FPS on consoles.

60 FPS on PC but only 30 FPS on consoles would be weird. This would raise a shitstorm and would be bad publicity for Bungie.

Yeah that's pretty much the norm... and most likely what will happen. I honestly dont think there's a chance for 60fps on normal PS4 or OG XB1.

Have you taken a look at any multi-plats in like the last 20 years? PC usually is uncapped or 60fps (with some shitty exceptions).

I really wanted to like Destiny, but I ended up being more of a Warframe guy. I just couldn't bring myself to be interested in the Destiny world.

Also, if you want me to take your story of a massive alien threat seriously, don't give everyone stupid dance emotes.

All of my friends are on Playstation, but I'm a PC gamer first and foremost. I can't pass up running this game on my 1080. PCGAF, will you be there for me??? I'll need people to Raid with.

Anyway, I'm trying to not get my hopes up for a gameplay reveal being the first introduction to D2. I hate being introduced to new titles with CGI trailers. They do nothing for me.

I don't like how realistic the humans look on that poster, doesn't seem to fit the universe. Curious what the other 2 species look like in comparison.

Without PS3 and 360 holding the game back...maybe? But yeah I doubt that it will be 60fps on console

I think we might see 30fps on OG PS4 and XB1 and 60fps (options) on PS4pro and Scorpio. But who knows.

All i know is i want a fucking unlocked frame rate for PC lol

I'd be excited about PC, but 95% of the people I played 1 with will almost certainly stick with PS4.

Very curious to see how the story goes this time around. Bungie has always done a great job of worldbuilding but I'm still waiting for them to nail down active storytelling.

Destiny is gonna feel weird on PC the same way how the PC versions of Halo are going to feel weird. I feel that Bungie likes to have the FPS controls a bit loser with dependence on aim-assist.

I played Destiny 1 when it first released and sold my copy about a couple of weeks later. Did it get any better?

Very much so. Went from a 5 to a 7 for me. Still flawed, but also very fun in areas that other shooters didn't approach. I have high hopes for the future of Destiny 2.

Kinda bummed that my ps4 character probably won't carry over in any meaningful way, but from what I hear no character really will so I guess that's a moot point.

oh yeah same. Having a 100hz monitor playing PC games then going to Destiny over the past couple years has been jarring. Probably the only 30fps shooter I've played in years.

PC versions of Halo feel great what are you on about? H5 Forge games on PC are some of the best I've ever played.

Commercial 1
Tower explodes
Stranger appears
Now I have time to explain why I didn't have time to explain

Commercial 2
Guardian walks around the corner of a hallway
Three red eye from the 1000 yard stares
Look what's just around the corner. Destiny 9/8

Which brings up a point that I hope they have aim-assist on PC if the game is controller compatible (which I'm sure it will be). I want to use my elite controller for this game, but I want it on PC.

I was just thinking how much this needs a follow up in the game.

Wow I've been banned for less.

They definitely will for PVE, most likely for PVP as well since the COD PC titles have it

Ahhhh!! Color me excited! I fell out of sync with the original as I never really had time for the raids after a certain point. Hoping the talk about the sequel being more accessible for all players rings true. I felt like I missed half the content by not doing raids.

Also hoping that there's some kind of cool collector's edition once again. I missed out on the first one and regretted it ever since. I was almost willing to pay upwards of $300 on Ebay for it at one point but talked myself down. This and Shadow of War could be my most anticipated "console" games this year.

I hope they do for PvP, but I understand why they wouldn't. Controller with aim assist can give some serious advantages over m/kb under the right conditions (games focused on mobility and higher ttk).

It definitely is. I pre-ordered Destiny and on the day of release I only played for 2hours, never touched it again until after Rise of Iron. From there on, I played non-stop spending at least 5 to 6 hours everyday; Played everything but trials; leveled up all three characters and still gaming.

Does this mean my Sony conferences can finally stop having Destiny rubbish in them?

Hopefully 2 is actually something resembling what I thought 1 would be.

Hypothetical question:

If you were playing at 60fps on SCORPIO or PS4Pro and playing multiplayer against PS4 and XONE players who were at 30fps, would the 60fps people have a noticeable advantage ... if any at all?

I still doubt the veracity of a PC version.

One of my biggest wishes is cross-platform player saves. My PS4 character is drastically underleveled since I play XBO so much more, and I don't want to have to have three separate accounts to play. :(
