Yeah, from what I know (don't actually have the game) when the pro patch released, the standard ps4 version was also patched, aiming for 60fps at the time. It wasn't a 30fps locked on ps4, vs 60fps on pro scenario. The PS4 version was definitely worse though.

I would think the odds we get gameplay / in game footage today are very low. They've done zero hyping of the reveal on any social media. Today will likely just be a CG trailer to set up the story / start pre-orders.

Could be wrong but that's my guess

Yeah, likely a cg trailer, or an in-game story teaser trailer at best, with a full reveal at Sony's E3 conference.

A leak of an announcement of an announcement but the announcement of the announcement was delayed.

Anyway...I'm looking forward to seeing what Bungie has in store for us. The leaks from last year didn't sound good but it seems from the expansions that Bungie has learned from the mistakes of the vanilla release. Hopefully what we get on September 8th is substantial with both quantity and quality.

It's so funny seeing posts like this still. The big problems Destiny had were fixed a while ago especially for casual players (aside from raid in-game lfg & grimoire). If you think there's a chance for them to mess up again wait like everyone who bought the taken king did. No use getting your hopes up if you're you pretty much gave up on the franchise before it actually got good. You're absolutely warranted in feeing burned by y1 destiny but they already had their second chance and they did well with it.
