Play Wii U Selects on your Nintendo Switch.

"Jokes" like these are so stupid and shitty. It's not funny in any form, just disappointing that it's not real. Fake game announcements on April Fools should be goofy or absurdly unrealistic, this is neither.

So the theme this year seems to be "games coming to Nintendo Switch" and/or "games that look really cool but will never be made."

This is why I rarely like April Fools Day. Bah humbug.

Man, that Onimusha collection is just plain evil.

This day is for silly jokes not to give people hope and crush them with a hammer. :(

I really don't understand jokes like that. It doesn't come across as funny at all, sure there's the whole "Don't believe anything today!" thing, but using that an excuse to troll just seems bad when it's companies doing that. There's a huge difference between showing something so absurd you'd have to be really silly to believe it and showing something people actually want that would be believable any other day, like they're saying "Oh, you want us to release this? Too bad it's fake!"

Okay GilvaSunner has a good non-joke joke going right now.
He's uploading high-quality rips every hour or so. People are so accustomed to rapid uploads being GiivaSunner's upload pattern, so when you click expecting some goofy meme'd out deal you get an actual high-quality game OST rip.

Which is paired with SilvaGunner uploading in batches, all of them being the usual high quality rips
aka silly parodies that may or may not contain the Flintstones theme
.

That is a way more understated April Fools' event from them than I expected. Nice.

I feel there is a line that gets crossed where April Fools jokes go from silly to mean whenever a company knowingly puts out something that people actually want.

Don't make it believable but make it over-the-top ridiculous so no one get's dissapointed.

Now the Wii U games one was not so good because that's actually a great idea for a console with rushed launch and very believable and needed.

Oh, nice. I know what I'm un-ironically listening to this evening, then.

Taken from Wikipedia

"Montérégie is an administrative region in the southwest part of the Canadian province of Québec. It includes the cities of Boucherville, Brossard, Granby, Longueuil, Salaberry-de-Valleyfield, Saint-Jean-sur-Richelieu, Saint-Hyacinthe, Sorel-Tracy, and Vaudreuil-Dorion.

The region has a population of 1,442,433 (2011) and a land area of 11,131.32 square kilometres (4,297.83 sq mi), giving it a population density of 129.6 hab/km² (336/sq mi). It is the second most populous region of Quebec after Montréal. The majority of the population lives near the Saint Lawrence River, on the south shore of Montreal."

Also, they are "apparently" recalling all copies of For Honor due to a spelling mistake... Here's the new cover.

What's worse is irritated fans not getting what they want so they grab some fake shit/make some fake shit to get other people as mad as them.

Capcom didn't make that image. Hell, you can even follow the link that's posted in that user's post. It's not even on the website. Would have been nice for him to come back and clarify, but eh.
