Well I'm certainly not worried about tbh, because it will be released on Switch, and it'll be a good release. It's just not going to be day and date because it's clear they have struggled with the development and they'll want to get the game out to fans sooner rather than later. Waiting on a Switch port is dumb. I think it's weirder that people would hype themselves up to believe that the Switch version would be day and date when there's no indication that was going to be something they pushed for.

Yeah I'm sure it'll come out. I think someone was talking about how DQXI was the first NX game announced and that's why there was no reason to think it wouldn't come out at the same time, but their logic was pretty flawed since there was no indication this version was in development from the time it was announced.

Easy doesn't mean completely effortless and non-time consuming, especially if they want to take advantage of different platforms. No matter if they are down-porting from PS4 or up-porting from 3DS, if they want to do a good job of utilizing Switch hardware, it's possibly going to take some time.
