My favorite was, is, and probably always will be Big Blue:

Supes has been my favorite since I was 4 years old and my mom got me a VHS tape of the old Max Fleischer cartoons for my birthday.

I have a few favourite heroes...

Top 5:
Spider-Man
Batman (Animated Series version is the GOAT)
Superman
Captain America (MCU helped there, honestly)
Cyclops

Favourite teams:
Fantastic 4
X-Men (specifically Claremont era)

Uhhh, teachers and nurses and doctors are my superheroes.

But where's their cinematic universe?

Do they mean Western comic heroes with this holiday? If so, Spidey. There's something about how anyone can be behind the mask, regardless of gender/color/creed that I love.

I'm definitely on Team Superman, as much as i agree that Batman's had a better history of consistent quality, i feel like the core message of Batman is kind of screwy, since Batman's basically all about principled revenge (so not like the Punisher or Huntress which is just a straight revenge fantasy).

Superman started as a power fantasy character, but gained more positive gravitas over time and became an aspirational figure.

Also partial to the speedsters on both sides of the line, Flash (esp. Wally West) and Quicksilver, the world's fastest man and the world's fastest asshole. Quicksilver hasn't been done justice in either the XMen or Avengers movies, imo.

If all DLC came tied to $13 figurines, I'd consider all DLC to be free
Spider-Man is tough to beat...probably also because of Nostalgia, but overall he is the one you could relate to the most.

Wasnt a big fan of Captain America priot to MCU....but now - based Evans.

Love them both to death.

World's Finest is my favorite thing in the entire DCAU.

Batman is my all time favorite. Batman '89 and Batman: TAS just hit at the perfect time to capture my imagination as a kid. Outside of Bats, I love Flash, Martian Manhunter and Superman the most.

Shazam, or as he should be known, Captain Marvel.

I love the core concept and themes; even the revisions thereof that came from the New 52. The cast is cool and the villains make for great, goofy fair, as well as more serious stories. Captain Marvel has several of the coolest moments of the Justice comic series -
he basically exists to save the day, and I love it. Curse of Shazam being one of the few proper reboots and new origin stories of the New 52 run does rather help my view of it as well.

Now if they would just actually use him, that'd be great. The last time he got a dedicated story arc of sorts, he unleashed evil from another universe and it fell to Lex Luthor to save the world... :/

It used to be Batman. I just loved how he was out there doing the best he could without powers but lately I've seen how awesome Superman is. I love Superdad waaaaay better than Batdad.

It was Daredevil at one point, but I gotta give it to Moon Knight.

I love how he's a more mentally disturbed Batman. His one run dealing with the extent of his multiple personality disorder was great and Warren Ellis' run on the character cemented his place as my favorite.

Second place would be Daredevil and third place would have to be a toss up between Black Panther, Spidey and Cap.

Gonna go with Captain America. I haven't read comics since whatever the event was called where The Green Goblin wore Iron Man armor and became President. I've heard about what they did to Captain America but that shit isn't cannon in my mind so I don't care. He'll always be our Cap.

Runners up:

Wolverine
Batman
Spiderman

All three of those were big during my youth (90s) when we had amazing cartoons for them on Fox. I dug all the Toby Spiderman movies (even 3) and have loved the Dark Knight movies, and really dug all the Xmen movies along with Logan. I'm always going to love those 3 heroes.
