Nice, this is what I came to post.
This has the same filter as some of my other shots, where I toned down the colors to get a more natural lighting, or realistic rather.
I envy Pro owners with such clear details in the distance. Standard PS4 peasant here.

I wish there was a quick solve for this on PS4.
The last pics I posted here were taken with HDR activated, they look better with HDR :/
I also take my screenshots with HDR activated and it seems to work. At least it's not way off. They seem a little darker here than on my HDR TV screen, however. Screenshots I take from the PC version of Mass Effect Andromeda, on the other hand, are complete unusable and give very weird colors.

HDR On is way contrastier and clips both shadows and highlights. Looks darker overall because most content is probably below mid-gray. Not necessarily bad, if you're going for a punchy look - I mean, people used to shoot slide (especially Velvia) exactly for the punchy look, despite it having pretty poor latitude.
You could achieve it in post-, though.

The small size of this one is kind of a shame.
Can you post the original size, maybe even as a png? Because this is one of the most beautiful landscape shots that I've seen of the game yet.I might as well add some of mine.

I am now positive that this is the most photogenic game ever made, if this were on Steam, my activity feed would be filled with these screenshots from friends (as it stands, Euro Truck Simulator is the game I see the most screen shots from in the feed ironically).
There are some folks in this thread with some serious photography skills. The photo mode in HZD does a good job of letting these skills shine. This has been an amazing thread.

Nice.Revisited old places and this totally looked like Saurons' tower in LotR to me.
If you had asked me to pick out which one was HDR without telling me, I would have thought the one WITHOUT HDR was the one WITH HDR.

Full size should be 1080x1920, yours is 576x1024, however. It seems you used a version downscaled by Flickr since the URL ends with a 'b', but it should be 'o' for original. There's apparently a big photo mode update coming this week. Anyone know anything about that?
The community director told me about it in her PM asking about using a couple of my shot's on Dan's website.
I told her to pass along the suggestion to let us pan the camera out further away from Aloy sort of like Nvidia Ansel and she said she would mention it. *Fingers crossed*

oh right! I thought that was the photo I posted using technique you taught me! I posted that one in a smaller size bcs in full size it would be too long for the thread! That was before knowing that trick

I was wrong! I posted that pic in a smaller size bcs it would be too long for the thread, full size vertical shots look huge in here, but fortunately I learnt a trick so I'll not post .jpgs anymore
