NOPE!!!

Especially not when the extended cut exists, which makes it decent rather than mediocre.

Suicide Squad is a fucking dumpster fire and makes BvS (the extended cut) look like a goddamn masterpiece.

i honestly don't know a single person who ever bought bluray in their life.
my friends stream on netflix or pirate
my older relatives buy dvds
my younger relatives watch youtube

i personally don't like watching movies at home.

Only people i know that buy Blu Rays did it either because it was cheaper than the dvd or they did it by accident

Presumably the terrorist guy holding Lois hostage that he rammed through the wall.

They never made it clear he was dead iirc, but if you're rammed through a brick wall by a guy flying at superspeed, it's hard to believe you're likely to walk away from it.

I do it because of the uncompressed audio and visual quality, plus it's not always available on streaming platforms and you get a digital copy anyways. They're pretty cheap too if you wait for a sale, usually cheaper than digital.

The ultimate cut of BvS was fine. Fixed a lot of confusing moments. Whoever edits these DC movies needs to be fired. I agree the movie needed to be trimmed down, but the theatrical cut is terrible.

I get why people buy them. I would too if i watched movies at home but people like you are the exception. Streaming quality is more than good enough for most.

I only bought the Ultimate Edition 3D Blu-Ray because I needed something cheap to take my Amazon order for an Extension cable and some cable ties to just over the minimum order threshold they've introduced, and the Blu-Ray was on offer for just enough to do that.

Superman positioned it so that his head smashed through the wall first, and then he gently placed the terrorist in a paddy wagon. Superman then flew back to Metro, but somehow Lois got back first and ran a bath before she was reunited with Clark.

Also before Superman got to Metro, congress was in session interviewing a woman who said her town was attacked because Superman did stuff. Which Clark was unaware of despite it being clearly a week later.

The film makes no sense timing wise

Other than that...

If thia movie had come out ten years ago it would have been the best shit.

I still buy lots of blurays.

Mostly restored 35mm stuff. Got the best version to date of Drunken Master last month, and looking forward to the harryhausen sinbad trilogy from indicator with a new restoration of 7th voyage soon.

First two were poorly paced and structured and had a lot of unnecessary filler, but weren't terrible.

BotFA is a horrendous mess.

It's good if you like it, but I don't think critics went into it with an agenda. Some people found the film incredibly dull and disappointing, myself included. I don't think people are crazy for liking or even loving it, but to say people didn't like it on purpose is wild.

Digital sales numbers would be interesting, but I doubt digital is a huge chunk.

That being said, I did buy BvS digitally, but I buy everything digitally (whether directly from Vudu or UV code from eBay), and well, most people are not me.
