He was more bad than good. If you get him a ton of room to gain speed he is tough to take down, but he takes so long to get speed and he takes way too long to even get back to the line. He vultured all season.

If he can convert on short yardage, he will be valuable. Can he pass protect?

He's pretty much good for 3 yards on a play and is good to bring in late game when defenses are tired and he can just bully people. He's not great at pass protection or receiving. He's a bruiser and that's it, but that's what the Eagles need

His first down rate on carries was 22% last year.

He's a mediocre in protection and his short yardage ability is overrated. Most of the work was done by the line.

Blount does have a lot of wow moments though like carrying multiple defenders and pushing piles, but he takes to long to get going. Honestly I think he stinks.
