That looks properly nuts. But the honeycombs look a little weird. Different, but weird.

Guys, I can't get the Abarth anymore, wife wants something more practical with 4 doors.

Looking at 30K+ for WRX or a cheaper slower Elantra Sport for about $21-23K.

Any other 5 door options below 30K options?

CPO Mazda 3 hatchback. Don't punish yourself with an Elantra because you aren't getting the Abarth.

500 SV Roadster produced for the world, less than 200 made it to the US. This is the last one to roll off the line.

Pictures do not do it justice. Looks straight out a cartoon in real life.

I'm pretty sure my S5 has some of those dash buttons. Jokes aside(it really does, though) the car looks great.

Damn, so this is just a Project XE car, tons of bespoke parts. Only 300 for the world. $190K. But it seems like it's basically a way to finance the future XE-R.

It makes me think of an Evo on steroids. The price is pretty steep, but I like the fact that they went with a sedan body style instead of the typical coupes you see at that price point.

You've got a plenty of options in that segment - GTI, FiST, FoST, and Civic Sport come to mind. I like the Elantra Sport as well. Test drive 'em all so you don't leave any bases uncovered.

Friend is really trying to convince me to trade the GT4 for an LP580-2 Huracan, but I think it might be best to wait for more to come to the used market because there is no way in hell I want to take the depreciation bath that comes with buying a new Lambo.

Alpha, when is your brother taking delivery of the Performante?

Just watched Mr.JWW's video and it looks and sounds epic along with actually being a good driver's car.

May I ask what do you do for a living to be able to afford this?

No idea when he's supposed to take delivery. I haven't asked, tbh. It's supposed to be soon though.

My vote would probably be the WRX over anything else but the GTI or GLI and FoST would also be good options.

This looks like the car that the White Power Ranger would drive. Either that or the head Stormtrooper on the Death Star. Either way, it's nuts!

Met a guy who drives an Exige today, turns out he lives a couple of blocks from my gf. Time to befriend him so he let's me drive it someday.

I can't *believe* these lazy developers keep making file sizes so damn large. Btw, how does technology work?

Beautiful. Just beautiful.

Saved for a shitty car at 15, and got one. A few cars later, and I was finally able to afford a reliable car with a warranty at 23. Hellcat at 28. Hoping for Viper by 35. And man, oh man, what I would do to have a Lambo by retirement. But I gotta do something different and soon with my life if I'm gonna get there.

You gotta post pics and impressions as soon as he gets it. From everything I'm hearing, it's one of the all time greats.

Haha, yeah.

Ahh ok. Well you do still have a very nice car

Thanks. I love it. Hope to get into a Lambo next year if my investment ventures pan out.

In a separate video you can hear it's off-throttle engine note, and damn it's crazy; it sounds like an alien spaceship out of a movie. I wonder why it sounds like that.

Check it at 1:45:

Edit: For the record, yes I think this car is silly too even though I'm a Porsche guy through and through. Just so there are no accusations of favoritism. :p

My friend just test drove a slightly modded Z34. He loved it. But since the car was at a shady dealer. He isn't gonna buy from there and isn't planning on buy soon.

Gutted, got work commitments which mean I'll be out of the country for two months starting tomorrow, had to put my modifications on hold and will spend the next two months in hire cars around UK, China and LA :(

Going to test drive three vehicles today. All three get favorable reviews for compact SUV's. I don't know much about cars so if anyone can give me some opinions of all three.

2017 Jeep Renegade: I know Jeeps carry baggage but it seems like Jeep has turned it around.

2017 Subaru Crosstrek: Cool looking car - kind of pricey for the 'specs'

2017 Mazda CX3: Hear the cabin is small and the car sits lower. Anyone have experience?

From this list, Mazda 1, Subie 2 and Jeep 3. The CX-3 is a great all around vehicle in its class and will be more fun to drive than either of the other two. The Subie does have a cool vibe but won't feel as refined as the Mazda for the money. The Jeep I have very little experience with except for the fact that random things like to break meaning you will likely have more issues with it over the long term vs the Maza and the Subie.

Getting things going with this F-type Project

Car is getting tented today. Purchased some Motorsport Tech 17mm hubcentric bolt-on spacers. Also ordered the Velocity AP lowering springs which lowers it by 7/8". I have an appointment set up next week for painting the rims, but I might have to cancel since I'll be out of town until the end of July.

I'll be purchasing the ECU Flash probably in August or September. I might opt out of the down pipe and pulley upgrades since I don't plan on keeping this car forever and feel like it would be an easier sell if the car remained mostly stock. Especially if I trade it back in to the dealer I bought it from.

Driving on highway this morning and see an orange Porsche in my rear view mirror. That's a nice color I say, looks like a GT3. Turns out it was a GT3RS. Awesome looking machine. Never seen a RS on the road in person. Not too far ahead we come upon another Porsche. A GT4. Man that RS made the GT4 look a little boring lol, although both are obviously great cars.

I am starting to itch towards an nicely used AP2 S2000. These cars are so fun and pretty affordable right now. They are also going up on resale... so tempted!!

You'd be a fool not to. Go for Grand Prix White or Laguna Blue, they're the highest valued cars. It's basically like your E92 M3 with half an engine and 800+ lbs cut off. Best roadster ever made and definitely one of the best true sports cars ever produced. I miss mine like crazy, been thinking about an AP2 myself especially since they pick up power effortlessly with a supercharger or turbocharger.

Ok that does it time to test drive and buy!! M3 will be track car then. Thanks!!

Gg.seems like a fantastic alternative to an Audi A3 or a Mini Countryman. With a hint of Allroad.

Really wish this came in a manual. If i bought a CX-3 the wife may claim it. A manual will be mine but she'll never truly want it as a daily driver.

The cabin IS slightly smaller than I'd like but the interior is really high-end. I was quite impressed with it. The car is a visual looker too.

Fantastic features, too. Love the touch screen, heated seats, the blind spot aid, and rear-view camera. I got the Touring AWD for a good deal. I financed it but will be paying under $190 for a payment - which I am cool with.

Tbh the S2000 is a way better track car. Much cheaper to run, more reliable, more tossable, easier to work on, and holds up to track abuse a lot better than the M3. All that extra weight really adds up on the M3.

I ordered some mods, as well.

I was looking at the H&R 15mm spacers. They were ~$150 per pair everywhere. So I said to myself, I'd just wait. And randomly I came across ECS Tuning have a stupid crazy sale on just these specific spacers (I guess because nobody buys our bolt pattern) and they were $90. So I immediately bought 2.

I submit my order, go to my inbox...and realized OH SHIT I won an item on eBay that I bid on days ago and never received notifications from the app! Hell, I didn't even think I'd win, because my bid was like $5 above the auction start ($99). I was the only bid and when I made my bid, the item was to end 4 hours later (at 4AM, no less). So I made the bid, and went to sleep. They are Jaguar embossed caliper covers made by MGP. They normally cost $200+, and a lot of people buy these for their cars because they virtually eliminate brake dusting. My brakes dust like mad, and it drives me fucking nuts.

80-jag_low_2_4703a3ddad47528faeab89b6101756c80918e863.jpg

I got them in red just like that. Jag logo up front, leaper in the rear. So two small mods on their way, and of course my wheels which I'll be painting Lunar or Stratus Grey (both are OEM Jag colors).

Finally got some more mounts for my GoPro.

https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=kzGaaBmzS3s

Sad to say the head mount doesn't work and I'm not even that tall! @___@

There's like at least 6 inches between the top of my hair and the top, but it still looks like this. I'm gonna try my chest mount tomorrow, maybe that'll work better.

Also, I really don't know how RegularCars does it... you look and feel stupid with a GoPro on your head lol.

It was a gorgeous summer evening. Went on an amazing drive with some friends.

Perfect roads, little traffic, and tons of exhaust and engine noise. Felt like I was in a Forza Horizon game. Lol. Wish I would have setup a GoPro.

I thought caliper covers were cheap mods that people put in their cheap cars to make it look like they have Brembo brakes or something, didn't realize there were also covers for specific purpose like eliminating brake dust. How does that work?

Also, screw you Evo, I'm incredibly jealous.

I hear you on the manual. My last car was manual but my fiancée and soon to be wife will probably be driving this and can't drive stick. The guy at the dealership was trying to sell me the 'Manual' mode being similar. Oh well. I had my fun - Genesis Coupe in a five speed.

The funny thing is my wife is from Africa so the first car she ever drove was a manual. Not that she became proficient but at least she was able to get it moving. I want her to learn but she's always so hesitant then i push her and then she overcomes. I didn't know how to drive a stick at all before buying my Hellcat. She ain't ever driving that though.

Drove a friends manual Subaru Impreza from 2014 Friday at work. Man i'm not sure I can buy something that slow.

Maybe people here will have more suggestions.

Looking for:

New
AWD/4x4
$25000
4 doors
Manual *Extremely preferred but may budge*

My wife said the same thing lol. I might opt to keep it as a project car and probably try a lease on a higher end car. I'll be satisfied once I get a Superfast 812. I'll stop wanting stuff once I can drive around in a Ferrari grand tourer.

Reason I'd lease my next car is because I feel like I'm throwing capital away that could go towards investments. I've got my trusty daily driver; the mighty Scion TC. As well as the Fam-mobile; the Discovery.

It all depends on how my finances look in 2-4 years as to what I decide to do.

My brakes dust like mad, and it drives me fucking nuts.

It drives me nuts as. I always wipe my rims down after I get done with a drive. It's probably going to get even worse if I opt for new rotors and bigger calipers.

Also seems I'll still have to do a tiny bit of grinding my the Gyrodynes. But it's only on 2 bolts, so it should take less than 10 minutes for all 4 wheels.

Still torn about the color of the rims. I'm now thinking about a Satin Titanium color. Just dark but not black.
